About this listen

A big part of Hindu and Indian mythology is the lengthy Mahabharata, with stories about princes, princesses, monsters, and many mysterious creatures. Krishna is one of the prominent figures in many ancient mythology writings from this region, and his victories over evil have been applauded and believed by many.

If you are missing out on the interesting cultural aspects of a society that has been around for hundreds of years, then please do yourself a favor and learn more about it. In this substantial audiobook, you will learn more about Kurukshetra, Pandavas, Bhakti tradition, Jainism, Buddhism in light of the Krishna stories, Vaidika dharma, and many other things related to religion and mythology.

If these names don’t mean much to you, do not worry. They will be explained and expanded on so that your comprehension of them will increase. After you listen to this, temple worship, yoga, rituals, holy festivals, and other aspects will be clearer to you.

I feel this audiobook should have a compliment from me, a loyal listener. The articulation of the words in this particular audiobook was fantastic, in addition to all the information contained in it. Based upon that, I am actually happy that I purchased the book. It was well worth my time.

I haven't seen any reviews starting with the word "aha" so I had to put that one in there. Aha! A book about Indian mythology! Cool! Nice! And yes, I learned a lot. Those people in India believed (or still believe) in a lot of odd, interesting things. Hey, who knows... maybe all those things are true somehow. Science hasn't discovered everything yet.

Helpful book for understanding some of the religious and cultural aspects of the that big, giant, populated country in South Asia. Good job.

Informative and concise. However mistakes in the audio recording were left. This was a bit distracting but not terrible.
