Insightful

As someone who knew next to nothing about economics other than my own inferences and informal conversation, I found this book to be very infornative and insightful. I definitely enjoyed listening and learning. It is very well written and we'll read, and I feel that it was written in a way that is technical yet easy enough for most, if not all, to understand and get something out of.

Excellent Intro to Econ (for a layperson) and Great Narration

I have listened to a number of economics audiobooks, but I find Wheelan’s approach especially concise. His writing is clear and conversational, with very little jargon. What technical terms he does use are explained and repeated later, so you don’t have to memorize vocabulary before beginning. As someone who has very little background in economics, I found this book very useful and it certainly added to my own utility.

Also, unlike many professional narrators, the reader for this audiobook did his job very well and has a nice voice.

Non-boring economics!

This is the book I wish they had when I was in college! Naked Economics breaks down what happens in the real world versus the theory. Well written, well read, well understood.

The Economics are Timeless

The real-world examples are getting a bit old, which is not necessarily bad, just more curious.
