About this listen

Talk is cheap, and so is a profession of faith apart from repentance. But we live in a day when people put more stock in a once-said prayer than a life reflective of a renewed heart. Taking Matthew 7:13-27 as his text, Paul Washer reminds us of Jesus' insistence that his way is narrow and that its travelers will bear good fruit and rest on the solid foundation of God's word. Neglecting these warnings from Christ has left many on the broad road to destruction. Don't think you are heading to heaven if you are not following the way of the Master.

Thank you

Thank you Paul Washer for speaking the truth about Gods word !! The word of God is so watered down in this culture. It is sickening. It is good to hear the actual truth on how the gospel should be preached. Thank you again.

Truth

Paul Washer speaks truth, rooted in Scripture, without apology. This book is essential for 12-17 year olds; although, this 60 something Grandma gained much needed conviction regarding worldly things. Short, but profound read. Would be excellent for use as teen Bible Study.

Knowing when you've heard the truth...

...because you kinda knew from your own experience that the conduct/attitude/demeanor of your local body did not add up to what was read in God's word... IF it is even read. We can always stick to something simple like 'for God do loved the world.' But He always does His portion (and then even ours).

But let's not mention homosexuality, because we'd have to speak on fornication, adultery or the leader's recent remarriage. Let's talk about social justice but not our biblical responsibility to widows, the poor and sick. Widows? Most of us were not only never married but born out of wedlock ourselves. Mercy! But God. And yet, praise Christ, there is a narrow way!!!

vital information, absolute truth.

Very true. Provoking one to examine one self against scripture. Needed time , 6 times I listened and thought Provoking words pushed me to place myself against God's Holy Word.

Truth

I have experienced and am experiencing the life change of Christ as my Lord and my Savior. I feel so radically different in my preferences and desires that I don’t recognize my former self. Jesus occupies my mind and heart and I am compelled to seek and follow His will. This is my life for the past three years. Thank you for validating that my experience is not only real but the expected outcome for all true believers. JKJ
