About this listen

Millions are satisfied to sit through hour-long, weekly religious services. Millions more have left the church, brokenhearted and cynical. But God is waking up his people - people who will risk everything and sacrifice anything to become the dynamic, powerful church seen in Scripture.

We Are Church calls Christ-followers, young and old, to hold fast to their biblical roots while seeking radical change. Scripture promises an exuberant and unstoppable church. That wondrous early church of acts can be our reality today - but not until we devote ourselves to her original priorities.

Listen to this book and be challenged, guided, and encouraged to passionately pursue God’s magnificent and beautiful vision for his church. Come and claim your part in this body of believers that is not just possible - it’s promised.

Mind Opening

this book opened my mind to this fact. The Church today is not focused on what the Bible commands us to be focused on. (In a nutshell)

Compelling and Challenging

I would give a 6th star if I could.
At this time when people are wanting a authentic model of what church should be.....
If Jesus was to start a church in your community what would it look like. Most likely not much like the majority of church’s that meet for two hours a week.

Get ready to have your eyes opened

I have to say I am truly convicted after reading this book. The things about the Church universal that Francis Chan sheds light on are sadly true and need to change. I'm just glad that this man has ears to hear what the Spirit of the Father is saying and is able to communicate this to those who are searching.

Insight that comes by experiencing Christianity.

As with all things related to God, take what you hear to Him in prayer and seek His direction and conviction. I enjoyed this book. Provokes thought... And prayer.

Thoughtful and provokes me to think!

Good writing on assessing the purpose of God’s people (the Church) compared to how we practice church.

amazing!

It really made me rethink church and how I was a part of the problem. I really need to go back to the bible on some of the fundamentals.

Out of the head and into the heart

This book was amazing. I’m ordering it hard copy as well to read again and make notes. I’ve been encouraged, rebuked, challenged, and equipped by this reading. Thank you Francis! Thank you LORD!!!!!
Sincerely,
Zebra
