About this listen

The Apostle Paul gave the Gospel the first place in his preaching, endeavored with all his might to proclaim it clearly, and even went so far as to pronounce a curse upon all those who would pervert its truth. Yet how sad it is that many, even among those considering themselves evangelicals, have reduced the Gospel's message to a few trite statements to be repeated and view conversion as a mere human decision.

In The Gospel Call and True Conversion, Paul Washer challenges such easy believism as he examines the real meanings of things like faith, repentance, and receiving Christ. He also deals extensively with the effects of saving grace that God promises in the new covenant - namely, the creation of new hearts and new people.

Thorough in its explanation of true conversion.

The author Biblically explains true conversion, justification and sanctification. Our blessed assurance as believers is founded in the promises of God, and NOT our own profession.

Good Stuff

It took some time to work through this, but that's mostly on the listener. Paul Washer has some great insights that assist you on your faith journey. It was an encouragement from brother to this listener. Would listen to it again.

Is your Gospel Diluted?

Loved how clear the gospel message is and how to present it completely, clearly and precisely. In Christ alone, in faith alone and one repentant sinner-man or woman; is all that’s needed to bring the sin to the cross and to THE salvation using the gospel of Jesus Christ the saviour and Lord. There is no redemption without repentance and forgiveness without personal responsibility and conviction where the sinner remains the same. The Gospel is intended to make us change, convict and convert us to conform to the image of Jesus Christ. Is he Lord and Saviour? In your life?
