I gave the third installment 4 stars - reluctantly, if I’m to be honest.

There comes a point where an author glides up to a line when writing fictional violence, and if they cross it you start to wonder if it’s w to find enjoyment when immersed in

I was lucky enough to try the first 3 for free and I feel blessed. It was beyond a pleasant surprise. Avalon is amazing. Dean and Abel and Brax are now thought of as MY sick boys. This series is deliciously dark and wicked. Dean is the perfect Doberman/cinnamon roll for Avalon. One of my top series next to the likes of The L.O.R.D.S and Devil's Night series. Seriously. You'll love it. And you'll love Avalon even more...she's my top FMC next to Aelin.

Do yourself a favor and listen to this series.

The conclusion to Dean & Ava’s story wraps up and many of the questions are answered except for one or two. There was definitely too much repetition. Enjoyed the epilogue. HFN! Overall the storyline was good but similar to two other series by different authors. The Sick Boys’ bond not by blood was incredibly strong and had character growth. The FMC had a hard life, ptsd, raped, beaten, excessive trauma and unloved. Overall I would say she was not a likable character/female.

Good story overall, not a fan of the re-used chapters tho, could have at least adjusted the names or switched it up a litle.

I liked the book a lot of action happened in this one I just wished it was explained why they wanted to kill her.

This book wasn’t as goood as the other two but still good. This one was more fast paced. The ending is satisfying. Narrators are great. Especially the female narrator.

I have had worse happen to me and have less trauma then Avalon. This girl is messed up but keeps putting herself in situations that will create more trauma. She gets raped after stealing a car then steals the car again and gets kidnapped. Then she is always telling/asking to go places alone, like come on I wouldn’t go anywhere alone again but she just doesn’t get why Dean won’t let her go alone.
Very good series just very lengthy.
