About this listen

What's worth the price of a secret?

To get an audience, you have to give up something. A secret, a favor . . . something that hurts. Welcome to Thorne Point, where darkness rules.

Rowan

I enrolled at Thorne Point University to be closer to my brother. Now my world is falling apart. Ethan is missing. Every day I can't find him it plays on repeat. The search for answers turns up nothing and I'm running out of options. But there's a rumor on campus. And I'm desperate enough to seek out the Crows as my last resort. Wren Thorne's reputation precedes him, but I won't take no for an answer.

Wren

The night belongs to us. We run this town. Wear the rumors like crowns. But after losing the most important thing to me, my brothers are all I have left. Our bond runs deeper than blood. When Rowan comes looking for our help, I do one thing I shouldn't: break all my rules. She asked for monsters? I'll show her one.

Contains mature themes.

really enjoyed everyones story and I normally dont like real life tough heartbreaking situations. really wish the last book was scheduled to be finished soon! had to pause the last hour of the third book so I wasn't stressing for the next year or however long it takes her. but definitely recommend the first series sinners and saints and then follow with these four crow men's stories!

Every story line was unique and sexy!

I’m not usually one to focus on a narrator but I could not get past how poorly portrayed the male side of this book was. Just eeewwww. The fact that the three other males in the group sounded like they were shouting in the worst “bro” impersonation ever made my skin crawl. The female narrator could have done the whole book her portrayal of emotions was really well done. I persevered cuz the story wasn’t bad but maybe I’ll read the rest if the narrator is the same.

WTF DUDE

I usually can get past a rough narrator but I seriously didn’t finish this book. Surfer dude didn’t fit the story. A different story perhaps but it just didn’t fit here.

I don’t usually agree….

I enjoyed this one. It pulled me in from beginning to end and held my attention throughout. It was interesting and does verge a little on that darker side though I didn't think it was bad. It does have some more of that morally grey side of things though our Crowned Crows have not had things easy and have seen more of the bad side so while they play on the other side of the law, they have a moral code that works for them and they go for their own justice and take things into their own hands. They refuse to be caught unaware and work to know all the secrets of the city and to control. They refuse to fall in line for their parents. Rowan goes to the Crows to ask for help trying to locate her brother and figure out what is happening. He has been missing and Wren feels some connection with her as well and that fiery spirit she shows so he allows her to get away without paying for their help with their typical payment of a secret worth their time and instead goes with a favor to be determined at a later date. I enjoyed watching Rowan and Wren dance around each other in this one. They definitely push each other throughout the story and are continually drawn together as well. Rowan makes him feel and Wren isn't entirely sure what to do with that at first but once things take off between them, Rowan is his. There are definitely twists and turns throughout this story and how things start to line up and connect. I am intrigued for what is coming next as things are resolved with Rowan's brother and Wren and Rowan are together but there are other threads left unresolved and set up for the rest of the series. I am excited for the next one.
The narrators did a good job with the story and bringing it to life. I enjoyed listening and thought that the male narrator had a great smoky, raspy voice for the character that fit personality and how the character came across.

Entertaining story!

The story could have been awesome but the male narrator made it very difficult to really get into the story. I want to listen to the other books in the series but not with this guy. Love Meg Sylvan!!! Love Veronica as well.

Horrible Male Narrator

I honestly couldn't even finish it. I got it because I love Meg Sylvan and the story interested me. But, the male narrator ruins it. Disappointing.

Male Narrator ruined it

The narrators are unbelievably bad, their voices sound like Dishonest John from the cartoons. I only finished the books because I paid for it….

The narrators are horrible
