A Teacher’s Dream

This is a great audio edition of Macbeth initially it’s confusing because you have an attached PDF that tells you where the chapters of original text versus modern text is. However, you can quickly find that if you go further into the book, the modern version is just a later chapter. The modern English is a lot easier to understand obviously however you still might need to do some supplemental googling to understand who the characters are. I get that they don’t say who speaking so that it could have a better flow, however, a lot of the voices do blend together and sometimes it’s a bit difficult to tell who’s talking so I recommend you listen and read the attached copy. Overall content with the story and the sound effects, can’t wait to try this in the classroom!

Why are you censoring Shakespeare?!

The recording is missing lines from the manuscript ("Liver of blaspheming Jew" completely taken out) and changed a words ("Be not a niggard of your speech" changed to "Be not a miser of your speech"). Please, reconsider censoring our literary history.
