Good overview

True to its title, this is a no-frills overview of buying and selling and should be considered as a primer for anyone interested in becoming involved in the real estate market.

Good listen for first time home buyers/ sellers

I would recommend this book to people just getting started with their home search. While it doesn’t go in depth into loans, it gives a nice overview of the home buying and selling process and as a first time buyer myself, I liked learning about what to consider as a seller of a home too. It was great to learn about what closing would look like and other expenses to consider beyond the price of the home itself. I’m happy I listened!

Good for general info but lacking specifics

The author shows his investor chops. it's a good overall picture of the economics, legal ramifications and marketing involved in transacting real estate; however the general principles that are given would be served by some in-depth specific examples of markets. For example the author speaks about an investor who did well when market conditions were rising and another who did poorly when market conditions were falling. there should be specific examples of real estate markets that were rising. What cause them to rise? How long did the rise last, what caused the market to decline? Can one predict when this will happen with any accuracy? These are the types of questions that it would have been nice for the experienced investor who wrote the book to opine about a little more.

This book is shit

This book has the most generic, bare-bones information in it and it's only 2 and a half hours long. I felt completely ripped off, I should have returned it.
