About this listen

"Anyone looking for something different will find [Silver]'s steamy, sinewy universe great fun..." (Publishers Weekly, Starred Review)

"Edgy, steamy, action packed, and plotted with nail-biting tension..." (Library Journal, Starred Review)

All three Northern Waste stories in one action-packed, sexy box set!

DRIVEN: In the harsh Northern Waste where human life is worth little, ice trucker Raina Bowen has learned to keep her eyes open and her knife close at hand. She's spent her life on the run, one step ahead of the megalomaniac who hunts her. All she wants is to stay out of trouble and haul her load of grain to Gladow Station—but trouble finds her in the form of a sexy stranger called Wizard. He has the trucking pass she needs, and she's going to get it even if she has to drag him out of a brawl. She may have rescued him, but Raina's not foolish enough to see Wizard as anything close to helpless. He's hard and honed and full of secrets—secrets that may destroy them both.

As they race across the Waste, trying to outrun rival truckers, ice pirates, and the powerful man bent on their destruction, Raina's forced to admit that trouble's found her. And this time, there's nowhere left to run.

FROZEN: Raina and Wizard are back, racing across the Northern Waste to outrun ice pirates as they follow a distress call to an isolated community that just might hold the answers to the mystery of Wizard's missing-and-presumed-dead, now-possibly-alive sister, Tatiana. But instead of answers, all they find are buried secrets and a truckload of trouble.

HIDDEN: For most of her life Tatiana was imprisoned, tortured in the name of science, her DNA used to create a plague that could wipe out the entire population of the Northern Waste. But since her escape she's no one's victim. Not any more. She means to hunt down her tormentor, kill him, and destroy the plague he created. Nothing slows her down or distracts her from her mission. Until she encounters the mysterious Tristan who claims his goals match hers.

Enemy or ally, she has no way to know…but she does know better than to trust a smart and sexy stranger who's alpha to the core. While her body aches for his touch, her mind recognizes that he's a man with secrets and a hidden agenda of his own. She means to discover what he's hiding, but first they'll have to survive ice pirates, a lethal plague, and being trapped in an underground lab, running like rats in a maze from a deadly threat unleashed by a madman.

Warning: This box set includes nonstop action, Reavers, snowscooters, plasguns, frigid temperatures, rebels, kick-butt heroines, hot heroes, and some steamy scenes!

"[Silver] deftly matches a relentless, action-driven plot with a tough-as-nails heroine to create an edgy, adrenaline-boosting, sexy, and richly imaginative futuristic romance." (Booklist)

Absolutely AMAZING Audiobook Box set!! 5++ stars

Northern Waste Boxset is an Audiobook that contains three stories in the series!!! And whew!!!! I LOVE this series!!!!
First, is Driven, the captivating story of Wizard and Raina. Raina has to get her load of grain to its destination….a deadly task!!!! She meets up with Wizard, who has what she needs to get to her destination. But, at what cost???
I freaking LOVED THIS STORY!!! Wizard is odd, intriguing, and seems to lack emotions of any kind. But, Raina is determined!!! Sooooo much happening in this story….unbelievably good!!!
This Audiobook (as well as all of them) was fabulously performed by Lillian Eaves and Vincent Lee Grayson. They excelled in their interpretations of the characters. I especially embraced Vincent’s performance of Wizard…making him voicing deadpan, mechanical, clinical, and emotionless….but, not???? Made me all the more entranced with him!!

Next, is Frozen a novella, which continues to follow Wizard and Raina…and serves as a bridge to the final story in the series. They are out searching for the place where a distress call originated….and hoping to find information on his lost, thought-dead sister, Tatiana. Short, fast-paced, and a wonderful bridge to the next book in the series. Again, the narrators are flawless!!!

Hidden, the final story in the boxset, is the totally engrossing story of Tristan and Tatiana. This enthralling read is a post-apocalyptic story that pulled me in and never let go!!!! I do not typically care for this type of story. But, this is so well-written….the characters so flawlessly drawn, and the storyline fascinating….you can’t help but be completely immersed!!
Tatiana has a goal and nothing or no one will stop her. Not even Tristan, who she helps…and she never helps anyone. Mind-blowing conclusion that ends in a cliffhanger!!

This Audiobook was again, beautifully and fabulously narrated by Lillian Eaves and Vincent Lee Grayson. Together these two performances truly brought an even greater depth to the story!!! Unparalleled!!!

I am volunteering to leave a review for an Advance Reader Copy of this Audiobook.

Thrilling Sci-Fi Romance

I could not stop reading this series. I enjoyed every book in the series, and loved the characters. Wizard and Raina end up being a real power couple, fighting through the Northern Wastes together through, eventually realizing that Wizard's sister, Tatiana, may still be alive. The first two books, "Driven" and "Frozen" are my favorite because I particularly enjoyed following the story of Wizard and Raina.

In "Hidden", the story begins to follow Tatiana and Tristan, who are looking for a cure for a plague. I don't want to give too much away, but "Hidden" does a great job of eventually tying all of the story lines together.

I enjoy Eve Silver's writing style. It is fast-paced, witty, and action-packed. The character development is great, that is one of my favorite things about the series. She created a unique and engaging sci-fi story.

Lillian Yves and Vincent Lee Grayson are a great narrating team, playing off of each other well, bringing their respective characters to life. The use of special effects is immersive as well, and adds to the listening experience.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It was a fun and unique read.

very different and interesting plot

An enlightening trio of stories about a frozen world and what it would be like to survive during a devastating plague in such a harsh environment with enemies threatening you constantly. The characters were very interesting and easy to imagine existing in such a world.

Exciting Futuristic Adventure

It’s hard to write a review for a boxed set without giving anything away. I’ll just say it’s a mix of Mad Max with a frozen landscape, some kick ass heroines, and a pinch of zombie thrown in. Great for fellow sci-fi fans.

The beginning

In the beginning, the book started off a little rough, or slow, but as the book progressed this book was freaking awesome, I enjoyed it to the fullest

Action -Packed

This dystopian series is gripping without of action and romance thrown in. There are even zombies to fight off. Each book in the boxset is about the three genetically enhanced siblings and the role they play to survive and find acceptance. Vincent Lee Grayson voices an A.I. perfectly. Lillian Yves compliments him well.

A great read

I was so happy this was offered as a Boxed set. Once I started it just flowed. Good character/story development . Each book was distinct , I just wish by copy did a better job of separating the books . Read the set. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author .

Fast paced, action filled and super characters!

What a great collection of books! I enjoyed each character for different reasons. They all were built very well and had nice personalities. I listened to this on audio and the narrators each did a great job portraying those personalities.

This is one of the most action filled collection of stories I have listened to. It is a great dystopian and kept my ears tuned in always trying to figure out what would happen next. I enjoyed each story but my favorite was Driven. The into to that tough as nails heroine then add in the sexy stranger with a unusual sense of humor is attention getting.

Lillian Yves and Vincent Lee Grayson did an amazing job as narration. They really elevated this already great collection of books.
