Talk #1: Worry, Fear, and Anxiety: These are expressions of a level of consciousness. The world holds that they have a survival value and therefore are acceptable and justified, whereas the opposite is true. Fear is very easy to manage once one knows how-techniques that work are presented. The fear of fear is the main obstacle and is simple to relieve. Dr. Hawkins provides ways to undo these conditions and reduce one's level of fear. He describes how fear is really related to loss and also shows how to stop being a victim of life.

Talk #2: Pain and suffering: Although not identical, the world firmly believes so. The successful handling of pain techniques that work instantly and bring about rapid healing are presented, along with clinical examples. Learn how to divorce pain from suffering, how to raise one's pain threshold, and reduce pain inclination. Discover the falsity of the unconscious worship of suffering as penance. What is the place of acupuncture for relieving pain? Does going to the dentist have to be painful? The answer is no.

Talk #3: Losing Weight: Dr. Hawkins teaches how to disappear hunger and not be at the effect of appetite. He provides basic tricks that clinically work, along with awareness of false medical beliefs and the need to cancel them. Explanation is given regarding how to reduce one's weight without suffering and how to maintain the desired weight without effort. This audio provides consciousness and energy techniques that easily handle the challenge. Few ah-ha insights

I enjoyed this audio book. Had a few compelling insights for me.
Fortunately I have read his book Power vs. Forced so I had an understanding of his frequent reference to the energy "chart". After listening I'm going to revisit the book.
Regardless I will listen again as he's easy and enjoyable to listen to and I'm sure I'll get even more from it the second time.

Excellent content. Strangely edited.

The actual content was brilliant. The presentation was a bit weird though with strange jumps and non-sequiturs making it sound like you're often listening to the same bits over and again - but it all works itself out in the end.

Surprisingly Impressed

I just got this yesterday and not only did I listen to all of it immediately after purchasing, I re-listened to the losing weight part today. (I'm not actively trying to lose weight and indeed eat very healthy/little already, but would feel I was at my ideal weight if 10-15 lb lighter, so I do make conscious choices to help go in that direction.) I immediately put into action some of his tips and even though I didn't totally expect it, the tips have worked today regarding how I feel about my hunger. Why ARE we a slave to the sensation of hunger in our body? It isn't real... we are not our body, we HAVE a body, and yes we feel what it feels, but the sensation of hunger is not of us, it's of our body. Really great content here to help reframe the concept of what hunger really is, and losing weight.

I'm familiar with Hawkin's work (having listened to and devoured Transcending the Levels of Consciousness, and Letting Go, several times apiece in the last couple years) and he never fails to present amazing insights. This is not presented the same way, which is fine; it feels like attending a sit-down with him or a very private lecture. Each of the three parts here are fine on their own... if you are listening to all three in a row it gets a little tedious, because in each part he repeats a lot of the same things (not sure I needed to hear in each that my arm can't feel its own arm-ness), but if you can get over that, there's a lot to learn here in a short time.

I have not ever experienced real pain so I did not get a lot out of part two (except possible tips for the future), but I have experienced periods of fear and anxiety in my life, of which his books Letting Go and Transcending helped tremendously. Regardless, the first lecture was a very good refresher.

In short, I highly recommend this Office Set, whether or not you are familiar with Dr. Hawkin's work!

Excellent info on appetite control!

Really effective and EASY technique for appetite control. I was surprised when I realized I already use some of this technique for nighttime hunger.

The diet party alone is worth the price of admission. The pain part is amazing.
