About this listen

Orchard Valley, Oregon. It's where the Bloomfield sisters, Valerie, Stephanie, and Norah, grew up, and it'll always be home to them.

When their father, David, suffers a heart attack, they gather at his side, the first time in years they've all been together. Coming home, they rediscover the bonds of family, of sisterhood. And, without expecting it, they also find love.

Great Story

The narrator was just okay in the beginning. She improved as the story went on after about 1/3 of the way through, it was easier to listen to. The story itself was a Debbie Macomber, great characters, easy to follow and entertaining.

This was a very enjoyable trilogy!

I really loved that David was given so many reasons to continue to enjoy life!

The reader makes me feel -anxious

When she reads the part of the eldest daughter she yells and the strain in her voice makes me feel anxious. And I understand that she is performing a part that is stressful...but it is way over exaggerated and makes me feel stressed. Personally I didn’t like it, will not finish this book.

Wonderful story! excellent narrator!

I really enjoyed the story, most of all the narrator is really, really good! There have been several of Debbie’s books I just could not listen to because of the narrator. The narrator makes the book, I wish more authors understood that.
This is very interesting story I recommend it.

A Fun Pool side read

Orchard Valley Weddings is a pleasant tale of three sisters. I was a little predictable but
I enjoyed the characters.

Disappointed!

I was terribly disappointed in this book. I like the authors books concerning her series about the yarn shop, but this was so so predictable. Maybe good for a highschool teen..summer read, but i could see it coming after 5 minutes!

The narrator’s voice left me feeling unsettled.

The narrator’s voice was harsh and hard to get by. I can’t finished the rest of the book because it stresses me out. I only got to part two “Stephanie” when i realized I was forcing myself to listen to it. The story was good but not a soft enjoyable delivery.
