Story
Nearly all churches and ministries consider themselves dedicated to evangelism, and many explicitly include outreach in their mission statements. But few are actually bearing fruit. Kevin Harney diagnoses this problem and offers guidance for multiplying the outreach impact of churches. Organic Outreach for Churches provides direction for local congregations to weave evangelism into the fabric of the church. Commitment to the Great Commission is not simply about sending money and prayers to missions or holding occasional events to reach out (although these things are good).

When you've been transformed by God's love, you can't help but want others to experience the same grace and freedom. But how do you share it without scaring them away or offending them? For most Christians, "evangelism" is an intimidating word that suggests handing out tracts to strangers or doing other awkward things. But what if there was a more organic, more authentic way to share your faith with your friends, neighbors, and coworkers? Dave and Jon Ferguson have found five simple, straightforward practices that will allow any believer to do just that.

Great substance in a very accessible format
I loved this book. It is filled with very solid advice from real life and ministry experience. It's easy to tell that the author writes form a long track record of helping real people find real life. Even when he passes on classic and timeless advice, he does it in the context of a conversation with someone.
He writes (and narrates) in a very accessible style. This isn't just a refresher for the experts. It is designed to help equip and encourage people to share their most important relationship with those God may bring into their lives.
The bottom line for me is that the book is extremely well written and extremely well narrated.
