Any additional comments?
As far as the New Adventures books go - they all pretty much follow the same story line over and over. More so than most fantasy books it seems. And though these books were supposedly written to interest younger kids into the Dragonlance series there have been some omissions.
Minor spoiler/rant
So Nearra goes to Palanthus to take her test and the book basically says the only tower of high sorcery is Raistlin's in Palanthus and he won't let them use it for testing so they have a building there where all the wizards do their business. Why isn't Wayreth mentioned - it's like it doesn't exist - this part doesn't really fit in with the rest of Dragonlance. Other things too - like the previous books - none of the wizards seem to have to study any spells. And through the entire New Adventures books they always seem to fight against some evil magic users - there's no variety
