Great to listen to while doing housework!

Not a complicated plot. Easy listening. Enjoyed a short story to rearrange furniture too. Will keep in my library for a other listen.

overall it was good

the story line was good, but the narration was almost robotic, which was a bit distracting.

My first Mrs Butterworth mystery

It is old fashioned and a little slow. I was looking for something a bit more then cosy, The mystery part is missing if you are a mystery reader of the greats. I am hoping as I read the second book, that the writer has got the mystery part included. I have been looking for a new author.

Sisters-in-law Solve the Case

This is a short, but fun cozy tale, of two widows, who are retired, but not yet ready for their rocking chairs. Connie drags her sister-in-law, Sable along for their first case, hoping to convince her to agree to join her in opening a detective agency. When a young mother contacts Connie about her missing “child minder” (gotta love British cozies) 😊, Connie agrees to look for the woman, expecting that the lady has just gone on holiday. However, the more that Connie and Sable investigate, the deeper the tale spirals into something totally different. The narration isn’t the best, but the story more than makes up for that. I’d love to get the rest in the series, however, unless they go on sale, I can’t see spending $5 for each one when the books are only about an hour and a half long. Perhaps one book with all included?
