Publisher's summary
If you're looking for a step by step walkthrough on how to start a podcast with no previous experience, keep listening....
Although there’s never been a better time to get into podcasting, with all the contradicting and often false information scattered all over the internet, it’s no wonder why so many people struggle to find a starting point when there are so many conflicting views over the best equipment, what launch strategy should be used, even editing. It can even create the illusion that starting a podcast is a daunting, time-consuming process. You may be reluctant to commit to something you lack both knowledge and experience in or you’re worried that when you do make the leap there’ll be no one on the other side listening.
In Podcasting Made Simple, you’ll discover:
- The X factor that leaves listeners craving their next fix of your content
- The secret to creating an immersive parasocial relationship with your audience
- Why many podcasters’ advertisement and promotion actually repels potential listeners
- How to create a loveable personal brand through emotional familiarity
- The simple, straight forward guide to recording and editing
- Why over half of podcasts are given up on within six months
- Formatting the perfect email that will get sponsors running your way, even with a low listenership
- Unique ways to start attracting guests and become an authoritative figure
- The single most important voice technique you can use to differentiate your show from competitors
This digestible guide is made for people with no experience so yes, this will work for you even if you’ve never spoken into a microphone and have no presence on social media. Even if there are thousands of podcasts similar to yours already published, and you have no marketing experience.
If you’re ready to start your podcasting journey the right way, you should listen to this audiobook.

Story
The grid is an accident of history and of culture, in no way intrinsic to how we produce, deliver and consume electrical power. Yet this is the system the United States ended up with, a jerry-built structure now so rickety and near collapse that a strong wind or a hot day can bring it to a grinding halt. The grid is now under threat from a new source: renewable and variable energy, which puts stress on its logics as much as its components.

Story
On May 31, 2014, in the Milwaukee suburb of Waukesha, Wisconsin, two 12-year-old girls attempted to stab their classmate to death. Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier’s violence was extreme, but what seemed even more frightening was that they committed their crime under the influence of a figure born by the internet: the so-called “Slenderman”. Yet the even more urgent aspect of the story, that the children involved suffered from undiagnosed mental illnesses, often went overlooked in coverage of the case.

Artificial intelligence does the seemingly impossible - driving cars, trading stocks, and teaching children. But facing the sea change that AI will bring can be paralyzing. How should companies set strategies, governments design policies, and people plan their lives for a world so different from what we know? In Prediction Machines, three eminent economists recast the rise of AI as a drop in the cost of prediction. With this single, masterful stroke, they lift the curtain on the AI-is-magic hype and show how basic tools from economics provide clarity about the AI revolution and a basis for action by CEOs, managers, policy makers, investors, and entrepreneurs.

Great guide for podcasting
I found this book to be really helpful. The information was clear and organized and delivered in a positive manner. And the author used examples which was wonderful! I am going to go back and listen to it again so I can start to take action. There were some items in the audio book that I was not clear on, I would have liked the author to deliver more explanation and provide even more examples. Despite that, this is the best overall guide on podcasting I have listened to so far. Thank you very much to the author, I am going to check out his website. The voice actor who read the book was great too! :-)

Complete step-by-step guide to podcasting.
I liked the fact that the author focused on ensuring you’re passionate about the subject matter you’re discussing so that your audience is engaged. I found that Chapter 3, about writing a compelling script, had me thinking about how to deliver a more engaging, content driven podcast of my own. This audiobook walked me through all of the essential steps to building an audience as passionate as I am about my topic. Highly recommended resource for novice podcasters.

Essential for Podcasters New and Old
Podcasting is a medium that’s been around for some time but is still in an exciting discovery period. Daniel Larson does an amazing job of covering all the important bases for beginners while dropping valuable information that’s relevant to even the most experienced creator. What makes this book so enjoyable is that Mr. Larson doesn’t try to be the smartest person in the room but rather aims to make everyone better by sharing his wealth of information in a easily digestible way. If you take his message serious and put in the work, there’s absolutely no reason why your podcast can’t be successful. Definitely looking forward to more from Mr. Daniel Larson in the future.

Great Podcast training book
I have always wanted be a podcast host but have always putting it off because of fear. Well, Daniel in this book has taken the fear away. I like how he teaches staying motivated through positive affirmations. He doesn't only teach how to be a great podcast host and how to generate income from the gig, why it could bring you fulfillment, but also gives recommendations on the right equipment to buy.
I totally recommend this book.
