Publisher's summary

What happens when a scowling spectral bad boy gets accidentally bartered to a chatty, pink-haired artist? A doomed road trip simmering with more than either of them was prepared for.

Luca

What was I thinking, trading my last painting for a "lucky" necklace? Instead of good fortune, the cursed trinket saddled me with a stocky, heavily tattooed ghost named Prudence. Determined to make the most of things, I struck a bargain: I'd help him with his problem if he'd help me with mine. En route to Oregon to help him shed his spectral existence, my ghostly companion becomes something more, and causes me to make a few unexpected discoveries about myself. Now I'm craving a connection that should send me running for the hills, and time is against me. For someone already dead, Prudence sure seems set on dying—can I convince him there's another way before it's too late?

Prudence

After gaining my freedom, I wanted two things: sex and death. The sweet, gullible Luca was my golden ticket to both. He became mine the moment he took my cursed talisman. Optimistic to a fault, and perpetually eating his feelings, the gangly, pink-haired artist made the perfect pawn. But using him meant I couldn't like him, and also meant that neither one of us was getting a happy ending. Emotions were never my strong suit, even before I died, but I found myself actually wanting to understand my new ally in all his awkward charm. Those sociopathic tendencies I'd always held so dear? Well, they're starting to feel a lot more like fierce protectiveness towards Luca, who may be less of a keeper and more of a keeper.

Possess Me! (I Want You To) is a standalone high-heat ghost MM romance with adventure, a HEA, and no cliffhangers. It features a relationship between a prickly ghost and a chatty, pink-haired artist. Neither of them has ever had a connection like the one they share before. Together they're haunting, possessive, playful, and sweet. If you like spooky stories with mystery, suspense, murder, desperately in love sad boys, and characters that make you laugh your head off, listen on!

Possessive and Dark

Possess Me! - I Want You To is an excellent connected standalone in the Spooky Boys series. Prudence haunts Luca, hoping to get him to let his guard down. And he gets that, but so much more. Luca is naïve and trusting even after terrible betrayal. Prudence is guarded and mean after everything he's been through. There are major hurt/comfort vibes working between them, going both ways. They are both very broken characters who find that their jagged edged fit each other beautifully.

This is a love story on top of everything else. Their love is possessive and dark, but also freeing for the characters. Luca and Pru deserve to have a happy ever after and I'm happy with where the story left off.

The narrators really brought the characters to life.

Second book. Kind of weird concept but enjoyable none the less. Is there a book 3?

Another fantastic Fae Quin Story

Loved this story. It has unique characters, humor, a well-deserved HEA, hot spice scenes, & fantastic narration. I laughed, cried, drooled, and swooned. What more do I need to say ;)

What finding the right person can change everything you thought you wanted

When I first came across the idea of this book I was skeptical, given the dudes a ghost, didn’t realise he would be able to become corporeal, which made it more a real relationship….. full of laughs and feelings of longing and sheer desire. I enjoyed this one more than the previous book. Considering at first for at least half the book the scene was mainly in the main guys apartment. It didn’t have that stale repetitive scenery, all the inner monologuing and thoughts the two of them had kept it interesting

Such a good story 🥲

I absolutely loved the second book to the Spooky Boys series! The story was so adorable. Luca broke down Prudence's internal walls around his heart like a sledgehammer to a wall. These two make up the definition of "make me feel alive" ❤️❤️ But I would like to clarify one thing, READ BOOK 1 FIRST! I understand that the author intended this book to be considered a stand-alone book but you will definitely understand Prudence's back story a little better. Also there are many characters in the second book that were 1st introduced in the 1st book. If your a sucker for details like me, READ BOOK 1 FIRST! Can't wait for book 3 to come out in August!!

Would recommend

At first I was not sure about the ghost aspect so I didn’t really want to read it. But I had listened to everything else on my list and decided to give it a shot. Boy was I surprised by how great the story was. I loved how in-depth both physically and emotionally the author got into the story. I also enjoyed the ending. I didn’t think it was going to end a certain way, but was surprised I would definitely recommend this. It’s also good because you don’t technically have to read the first book to understand what is going on in this one. Eventually, the author does explain everything that’s going on, even though you could’ve gotten that information from the previous story.

Absolute Perfection

I absolutely loved this book! I was really looking forward to Prudence's story when he was introduced in Bite Me, and I was not disappointed. Luca, who was just sunshine, even though he was down on his luck, and Prudence was prickly, broody, and just pure sex. Together, they were expolsive! They embark on a journey to help free Prudence from a curse, and during their adventure, they fall in love. They were the perfect compliment for once another, and both finally were able to be themselves and be loved for who they truly were. This book gave me all the feels. I laughed, I cried, I hated, and I loved, and really felt the emotions between Pruca. They ended up with such a special bond that just warmed my heart, and their sexy times were hot as hell! And the ending was everything, just perfect, left me with a smile on my face. Truly loving this entire series, and this addition was spectacular. I can't wait for the next Spooky Boys book!

I loved this so much when reading it, I love it even more after listening to it. Liam Dicosimo and Alexander Cendese were absolute perfection!
