About this listen

In this fun and interestingly informative listen, the dos and don’ts of potty training will be explained, and the highs and the lows will be discussed. This will assist you in making a few good moves in the process of teaching your child the basics of using the loo. Whether your child is considered a “quick learner” or not, these fun steps have been proven to assist well and make it a playful and fun process for your toddler too. Many fun times are to be had, but many stressful moments will also occur. The following guidelines will help you to gain some perspective and think before you act on frustrating impulses.

Your child's need to empty their bladders and bowels is a basic human act and should never be seen as something dirty. Private, yes, but not dirty. The fundamental steps in your child learning to use the toilet will forever stay with them, and they will base many decisions around this mundane and natural act of relieving themselves. We hope these minutes will assist in making this process a memory you will forever treasure.

As a grandma I can appreciate these potty training do’s and don’ts. I had to laugh because I could relate to many of the daily scenarios that we all go through to get children to accomplish this goal. I learned about charts to record and reward them for their daily routines and more.

I found myself laughing when remembering my bathroom bootcamp days while absorbing these clever tips. Between the midnight cleanup missions and victory dances over successful potty visits, this guide brought back all those wild moments with my toddler. The practical advice mixed with real-talk had me thinking "finally, someone who gets it" - especially during those moments when my little one decided the living room floor was a better option than the bathroom.
It tackles everything from stubborn refusals to those precious breakthrough moments. Gone are the days of stress and self-doubt about doing it wrong. The strategies work in the real world, where timing isn't perfect and accidents happen.

This book is valuable for those approaching the potty training stage. My granddaughter is 2 and is transitioning into potty training. I have been nervous, but now I feel better. It reminded me of the process and now I feel better equipped than I did the first time around. I loved how the author reminds us not to shame the children, how to make potty training fun, and how to take it one step at a time. We always want to rush it and I see now, how that sets us back. Great read.
