Full of participation trophy nonsense

I’m so tired of parenting advise that refuses to acknowledge the need for positive punishment. Your suggestion for a child who refuses to go to timeout despite you physically moving them there multiple times is to ignore them?!? Yeah great plan except *uses readers voice* “You just taught your child that they can do whatever they want and you will just ignore it as long as they don’t listen to the positive discipline you request”. This book is garbage. I wish I could “un-listen” it and get those brain cells back.

Highly recommended for new parents or anyone wanting to improve their parent-child relationship

I honestly wish this book was around when I had my first child, now a teenager.
This books explains the why’s of some children behaviour in order to understand them deeply and realising what it that needs to be improved.. not only on the kids side but also us as parents.
It is a really smooth read, and It actually changed my prospective completely, it’s filled with great explanations and after reading it I instantly felt that a positive change is on the way, both for me and my child .
