good story. recommended it to everyone that'll listen. why is there a 15 word minimum. that's stupid. if you want reviews there shouldn't be a minimum. yup. I recommend. listen to this book. or reas it. outcome wasn't what I expected. am I not at 15 words yet?

This is book 3 in the series . Once you pick up book 1 you will want and need to continue to listen till the end of book 3 . This is a reverse harem story. There are lots of surprises in this one with the rock dragons. There is an unworld power hungry dragon that wants to topple the ruling family. Phoebe and her 4 guardians have a task to complete, once they completed the task the world will be one less tyrant that is power hungry above ground . Who uses the humans fear of dragons to keep them under his control

This authors works are hit or miss. This one was not my favorite. The fmc had potential to be powerful but she was mainly a plaything…I like spice in my rh as much as the next person but I wish the fmc was a better character…less childish. None of the people really seemed to like each other or there situation I prefer instalove. I like that it’s multiple pov.

Fast summary
The priestess has gotten all her guardians on her side and now they must leave all they know to save a world that mostly does not want it or know they need it. The priest sworn to serve them betrayed them. The king grows more mad diabolical in his plans. The issues start out with the guardians not trusting each other. They all must learn to get along and work as a team. They all must meet up with a secret order of servants that will guide them. Then they must open a gate, they once thought ment to be shut. But once they go through the gate. All the expectations must change.

My review
So the last book starts off really well and keeps the storyline going good. You get more twist and turns that you did not expect. You also get a view of side characters like the princess and what’s going on with her. This book really brought things together. Till you get to the last chapters. It feels like the author rushed it or lost interest in it. Everything was tossed in and the finial battle and everything else was ….blah. I feel like I accidentally skipped a chapter and missed some information. Or is there another short book to tell us about the other parts. I feel like there might be a side series. Even so, I wished they would have gave a little closure on the one person. I also wish she would have done a flash forward like she has done in her other books endings. Not a short flash forward. We wanna know the future lol.
I do gotta say again. It’s silly for 5 people to have sex at once to save the world. It’s a little far fetched. Comes off as cheap porn vibes. I wish that part would have changed. The storyline is great and all but that aspect of it was buggy.

Review on main characters
The main characters were good and not so at times. The main female character growth at times made you connect then she grew childish is her decisions again. The main 5 males were in and out. Like at times they did not feel like a lead character. Not balanced out well. Forest is still my favorite because he’s character stays true but he also shows growth. Nico does not show much growth. And others seem tossed in and times. They all together were well done characters but I wish the relationships and growth of them were balanced a little more so you could feel connected more. Not bad though.

Narrators
Narration was well done Lauren and Troy did a great job. Troy is getting more parts in this book. They are able to balance emotions in their words and make you feel part of their adventures. I’m glad she has them mainly doing her books.

Would I recommend this book?
If you made it through the other two books then yes you should be finishing this one also. The book is really good mostly. The storyline is well built mostly. I’m still on the fence on a lot of it. But I don’t regret listening but I wish somethings were different. Really odd ideas and rushed others.
The book has adventures, mystery, romance kinda, and sexy bits.

Author is great. I love most of her books. She is really great at storylines and building up a moment. Keeping the readers in the dark then mind blowing them with the truth. This is not my favorite series. But does not mean it was not good. Just not my cup of tea.
