Publisher's summary

One minute, I'm just an innocent, brave, beautiful young woman chasing down an evil vampire. The next, three sexy Fae jerks abduct me from my life of slaying vamps and saving puppies.

Okay, okay. I'm not particularly innocent. The beautiful part is really dependent on the lighting. And some people say "brave," some people say "stupid." Whatcha gonna do? Everybody'' got haters, even the toughest Hunter in Washington, DC.

I've got amnesia, and my memories all begin five years ago. So I don't remember these cocky Fae princes, with the smoldering eyes and painfully good looks.

But they definitely remember me. They say I'm the true heir to the throne. But these sexy jerks are hiding some kind of secret from me. There's trouble back in Faerieland (They hate it when I say that).

Someone stole my tiara right off my head, erased my memories, and shoved me through the portal to your world. And it's time for me to find out why, with these powerful Fae males by my side - no matter how unhappy we are to be stuck together.

Contains mature themes.

Male narrator was a bad fit

The series is good. I’m starting book 4 now; however, I have to note that the male narrator was an odd choice for the characters. He sounds more like a grandfather than a sexy fae. Still, I probably wouldn’t review his performance except for the awful voice he uses for the FMC’s brother. At best, it’s a risky choice that didn’t pan out. More likely, he ran out of male voices (although the others have little distinction) and this is what came out while he recorded. I don’t know how to describe it except to say it sounds like a pre-teen going through puberty after inhaling a lot of helium. This narrator would be much more suited to children’s books or maybe self-help titles…?

Great except for the male narrator.

The female narrator was great I have read this book. It's a great book. I love the author. I couldn't finish listening to this. The guy's voice is like narrating a children's story. The female did a better job of the male roles.

No choosing

First of all, let me say I got this and the collection of the 4 books free with my premium plus membership…
It had a great start got a little frustrated with no answers and repetitive monologue… But with that said it didn’t last long so I got into the book and I started to really enjoy it.. FMC is strong mentally and emotionally although there’s turmoil… It’s hate to lovers for some, but this is long and deep after all this history there… It ends on a cliffhanger, but I’m onto the second book

Why?

I must have read the wrong reviews. I'm halfway thru and I am bored and annoyed that I wasted a credit on this. I do not like the 3 male leads and all the other characters. The female lead has my sympathy. She's lost all but the past 5 years of her life and everyone treats her like crap because can't remember her past.

I want my credit and 5 hours back.

A large book with only tidbits

Long drawn out tangled mess, the guys all blame her for something she can’t remember. I’m currently on book two sped up because normal listening to this series is like watching grass grow after using weed and grass killer.

This takes to mind that the saying is reverse of what is actually happening. The sins of the father are the sins of the children. All four courts are mindless drones who imo don’t deserve to be saved.
