About this listen

"I'm darkness, Maddie. Stay away from men like me. You'll only get hurt." At one time my life was simple. Easy. But that was before the war. Now I was no longer an average college student. I was a survivor. A woman living in a ravaged world. My future was not bright and my life was far from perfect. The war had taken so much from me...but it wasn't finished yet. It wanted more. It wanted my heart. My soul. The one person I couldn't live without.

It wanted Ryder Delaney. My best friend. The bad boy. The one person who could fight like no other and love me like no one else. He was the father of my baby. I watched him walk away one hot summer day and I prayed he would return. I needed him like I needed air to breathe and water to drink. Without him I was lost. A light without her darkness.

Until he returns, I'll wait for him. And I believe he will return because love is powerful.... And so is the light calling him home.

Good...

Damien was great great in this book...just like book 1.... But c'mon... way too much inner thoughts going on...

The smex was great like always... be I felt this story...just like book one could have been told in way, way less chapters.

Grandma was Hil...La..Re... ous!!! Sooo funny.

Narration started with male narrator to give us Damien's inner thoughts... but the book is read by female narrator. This was great... and I think this is the best way to do dual narration.

Nice Credit, Sale or Buy if you have book 1

OMG... wait... This review is for Wrecked Me book 2 ... Below is review for Promise Me Light!

Awesome ending... I was a bit pissed when the story first started b/c I was thinking Rider was not coming back.. So the shock was over, I loved it. I still feel it's a bit much with all the explaning every little thing... but glad this was not pushed over to a 3 booker... Some authors know when to end it a book 2. So kudos for that...

Narration is not a dual... YES! The male narration is not until the epilouge at the end, told from Rider's POV... The entire book is read from females POV. Now that is how you do dual narrations. I hate when two people read the book together... So kudos for that!

This book sums up the EMP attack and everything... So we actually get an ending, plus Rider gets a baby...so yea... worth a credit or save. It's a bit pricey so I wouldn't buy, just wait for credit...

Good Ending

This is the second book in a post apocalyptic romance - unique from most other new adult romances on the market. And it pulled everything together as I had hoped. The bad boy/ good girl dynamic shifted and developed significantly. The story was good, as was the narrator. Entertaining and enjoyable.
