The author walks you through every step of crafting and preparing a speech in a fun, engaging way. The author is particularly good at breaking down the process into small, manageable steps that are easy to follow, and encouraging you along the way. I truly believe this book would be helpful to anyone looking to pursue public speaking in any capacity, from beginning to advanced speakers. I know I will be clinging to this book the next time I need to make a speech!

Let me introduce you- this is the book you always needed, but never knew it. If are looking to improve your public speaking this book is it.

What I really appreciate about this book is it's practical and organic approach to improving at public speaking. There's no "magic fix" to public speaking. One of the "4 Ps" the book revolves around is practice after all.

But it also teaches you and empowers you to authentically connect with your audience and to bring passion to your speech in a practical, 13-day guided format. The secret sauce? You guessed it. Story telling.

This book took my public speaking to the next level. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

I’d give this book 10 stars if I could! For anyone that is on their journey to becoming a public speaker, storyteller, or even just becoming a more well-rounded human, Renna speaks right to your heart through her book! Her ability to use facts, humor, and her unique voice throughout this book makes you feel like you have your own personal coach.

She guides you step-by-step, while giving you well thought out prompts to work on after every chapter. The author draws from her personal experiences to demonstrate several lessons you will face throughout your public speaking journey.

This book grabbed my attention on the first page! Renna's writing and narrating alone teaches the reader how to captivate an audience! However, she offers so much more. Her step by step guide to gaining confidence in speaking was clear, doable, and inspired action. The format of the book is fantastic, as she weaves a story through her teaching followed by specific how -to's and the big why! My takeaway from Renna's book beyond all of the step by step tips, is how to see stories through a wider, more critical lens and use them as connection tools. She challenges the villian of fear and equips you with tools of connection, truth and joy! This book is a must buy whether you are a public speaker, teacher, or simply interested in conversationalist skills. We are all connected through our stories, this book empowers you to own yours with confidence!

The book is well laid out and engaging with specific action steps at the end of each chapter to help focus and apply the material in a thoughtful way. As someone who tends to overthink public speaking, this book really helped reframe my mind to better connect with my audience while getting the added bonus of feeling more confident in my presentation! The audio book, read by the author, makes you feel as if Ms. Nightingale is your own private coach. She is so gifted at inspiring the best from the listener, and I felt as if she was conversing right in the room with me! Her tone is encouraging and exciting as her own stories are recounted. I couldn’t wait to hear what was coming up next! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to better connect with others not just in public speaking, but in any communication!
