Publisher's summary

My college sweetheart, a mega-sexy hockey god, betrayed me with my best friend.
Now he wants a second chance.

Ethan Anderson, my brother’s best friend, is a vision of masculine perfection,
with smokin’ abs and a tight behind begging to be squeezed.

I have no idea why he dated me, a homebody that no one noticed.

I worshiped the ground he skated on,
but when I saw he was sexting with my supposed bestie,
I bought a one-way ticket out.

Years later, I'm back in our small town, inheriting Grandma’s boutique.
To save it from bankruptcy, I agree to be Ethan’s PR Manager.

As we work together, our chemistry sparks alive with wild fury.
Next thing I know he’s scoring goal after goal—under the sheets, with me.

When the boutique’s dusty attic coughs up buried treasures worth millions,
I’m pulled onto a rollercoaster ride of danger.
And Ethan steps up as my protector—much like a goalie stopping a breakaway shot.

He wants me back and I’m caught in breathless moments of needing him too.
But should I trust the man who once betrayed me, especially now that I’m pregnant with his baby?

I wasn’t expecting some parts of it

I wanted to skip the part where Elena was unreasonable and caused their break up. As well as parts where Ethan was in his “partying” phase. But those were integral part of the story.
I wasn’t expecting the “mystery” of what they discovered in the attic.

I loved the reunion at the end.
All in all, it was a very good story. It evokes many emotions, including relief and satisfaction that the bad guys got what they deserved.

was so so so hard to follow along.
