About this listen

Gabriella Baine has a way with words. She dreams of one day becoming a staff writer for the biggest TV shows. But dreams don't pay rent and during a job interview at one of the largest modeling agencies in the country, she meets fashion photographer, Flynn McCreary.

Sparks fly and there's an intense, visceral pure lust that culminates in the hottest sex Gabriella's ever experienced.

Soon afterwards, Flynn's gone and once again she realize that her wish for Prince Charming will never come true.

Then she meets the handsome, romantic and mysterious Edward, a man who seems to have it all but is also keeping secrets that could destroy any chance of Gabriella ever finding her happily ever after.

There should be a boycott of narrators that don't hydrate before reading!!! Not trying to take away from the story though. That's pretty good.

Dry mouth narrator Yuk!

Super loved this! It’s a fun, simple love story and exactly what I needed for my holidays.

Great read!

Up to their usual standard the sex scenes were tepid and the submissive scenes unimpressive. I wish I hadn't wasted a credit on it. And unlike their others, I never want to reread it

It took me a while to get used to the man reading the book versus usually the woman reads the book. However, when I realize this was from a man’s point of in. it really got interesting. The book was very well written. Anyway, oppose you in. I’m a sucker for very good happy ending

You really need to listen to this,!

It was weird to have a male reader for books told from a females POV. The whole time I was hoping that this is the chapter we get the male POV. As for the story it seemed to get drawn out. I think I was just getting frustrated with the cluelessness of everyone. Gabiella was a mixed bag for me. I liked it when she stood up for herself, but I hated that she was so self righteous. The book was just good enough to keep you listening while thinking when's this going to end.

Happy Ever Ick

I liked the storyline. I really liked the characters. I predicted where a few of the stories would end up fairly early on but was also pleasantly surprised a few times too. I'm a bit of a grammar cop and the incorrect use of "I / me" was terribly distracting for me. ( ... Edward and I's wedding...) WHAT?! There were more than a few others but judging from the grammatically ignorant people I see all over reality TV, I seriously doubt that most listeners picked up on any of them. I'll look for more books by these authors. It's hard for me to listen to them back to back if the narrator is the same though, so I'll have to listen to a few other narrators before returning to this one. . . otherwise the characters just blend together. 😉

I really enjoyed it!

Ok, when you stay up all night listening instead
Of going to sleep so you can work the next day, I'd say it's definitely worth a credit. Any book that pulls me in enough to actually laugh out loud, cry real tears, curse at some of the characters and cheer for small victories. ( and eat crow when I miss judge) Enjoy! I know you will! P.S. great sex scenes too but that's not the pull of the book.

Be prepared to BINGE coz you won't want to leave

Gabriella Baine is struggling to make a name for herself as a writer for a TV show.

After meeting fashion photographer, Flynn McCreary she takes on odd modeling jobs. Sparks fly between the two of them, and then Flynn is gone.

Then handsome, romantic and mysterious Edward, a man who also seems to have it all but has mommy issues and is also keeping secrets.

I like the deep richness of AC Edwards voice however whomever decided to cast him for a female POV story/voice totally missed the target. I'm not particularly fond of Gabby's character, and I found it frustrating how Gabby goes from wanting to make something of herself to allowing Edward to manipulate and run her "choices." I really didn't like how she seems to toy and manipulate with the three brothers.

IMO I felt the romantic relationships were all forced and shallow and all the family drama....just wasn't my favorite read.

Family Drama -

Considering other books by this author, the sex in this story is good, but not at all the breath catching highs found by other characters. And the plot was entirely predictable.

Good, but could have been better
