About this listen

Four brothers. Four stories. Four happy-ever-afters?
Enjoy this collection of all four Hunter Brother stories.
1. His Obsession
2. His Control
3. His Hunger
4. His Secret

His Obsession: I've always done what's expected of me, run Hunter Enterprises the way Grandfather wanted, but when I stepped into Club Privé, I saw something I wanted for myself. I wouldn't let anything keep me from bringing that world of decadence and sex to my home city, Boston.

His Control: My entire life has always been focused on accomplishments, working myself ragged in the hopes of getting out from underneath my big brother's shadow. Now, Grandfather's gone, and my relationship with my brothers is at a breaking point, leaving me to decide what's truly important.

His Hunger: I was known as "The Peacemaker", the laid-back brother who never felt emotions as deeply as everyone else. Except I did. I'd just always hide them. Not anymore. After she walked into my life, all I want now is to become the man she needs me to be. If only she'll trust me enough to tell me who that is.

His Secret: I've been angry for as long as I can remember. Angry about life, about what I've lost. It's my only defense, my only protection. No one has ever been able to break through. Then I meet her. The strong and beautiful Brea who won't let me retreat into anger. If I just can open up my walls for her, I know she can change my life.

The story behind the 4 Hunter brothers.

Not a fan of AI. I almost stopped listening, but the story plots won out so I forced myself to listen, but probably won’t opt dor any more AI narratives.

Not a fan of AI

AI made it sound non emotional. The voice was drab and boring. I won't listen to another book by AI.

Like Alexa Reading a Sex Scene

The stories were good, but not a fan of the AI reader… never again will I criticize a narrator for being too dramatic. The sexy parts were almost funny, if they weren’t so painful. I’d love to hear them narrated by a real person.

Virtual Voice!?

I really tried to get into the story and I thought I was.... But I just couldn't. the flat narration and no variation between masculine and feminine really affected the quality of listening for me. I really tried but it just couldn't hook me.

from what I did listen to the story seems to maybe have some really good potential if it wasn't using virtual voice. Sorry🤷

Love the books!!

I do not like that someone is actually reading it. It looses the feelings that people can portray in their words.

virtual voice

Don't care much for this method of reading the story. The voice never changes to show the difference between characters.

Not bad writing

While the stories are bad the Virtual voice is terrible. I would read from the author again without virtual
voice though.

Great story but

The virtual voice was distracting. It would call the PI in the stories ‘pie’. It also couldn’t differentiate words like ‘read’ — I can read versus I read (‘red’) her face; or an ‘articulate’ man versus ‘articulate’ your position. It would have been much better to have a narrator or performer. In addition, the chapter numbers become an inaccurate jumble toward the end of Blake’s story. Confusing. More attention to production would have made this all 5-stars.
