Wise words in all probability, but a tall order when you have just become the pharaoh of a small and penniless country whose largesse, and indeed treasury, is unlikely to stretch to the building of a monumental pyramid to honour your dead father. And particularly when your only visible means of support is a recently acquired qualification from the Guild of Assassins - and running a kingdom and basic financial acumen were not prerequisites for course entry.

"The best kind of parody: funny and smart and still a good story." (Mail on Sunday)

Most of the first half of the book has been left in and so virtually none of the second half has been included. This version also lacks continuity. Unfortunately this is the only version of this book that Audible can sell into my part of the world - Australia - because of the stupid copyright laws that still limit freedom of the press in a number of countries.
I ended up ordering the CD version which was a far better investment than this abridged version.
