About this listen

Don't mock Constantine's dog. Princess might weigh only six and a half pounds, but she's tough - so watch your ankles. Be warned: If she doesn't like you, then neither will Constantine.

Except he kind of likes Aria, even though Princess would prefer to bury her in a hole. Could it be because Aria has secrets? Lots of them, and they all have to do with the danger stalking Bitten Point.

People are missing, and some have turned up dead. Monsters are roaming, and not just the swamp at night but the streets, too. At the heart of the mystery is a bite-sized woman, a woman Constantine wants to hug tightly in his coils and keep forever.

A cold-blooded snake, Constantine can't help but crave the warmth that is Aria, but can he keep her out of mortal danger long enough to make her his mate?

Contains mature themes.

HOORAY FOR SNAKES!

Stumbling for new reading material, I found Panther's Claim (5 rating) and became intrigued by Constantine and Princess. Of course the epilogue had me itching to read Python's
Embrace(5). . MINI SPOILER: I'm hoping Ace' will get his own story. Maybe si meone could find something to make him into a shifter (hint hint : ). Backtracking, I'll read Croc's return now. Happy listening or reading.

Continual story of the mystery of bitten point.

This story gets the reader closer to who is behind the weird experiments on shifters and the disappearances of towns people. And love is found between the two shifter pairs.. worth a credit & purchases.

A hug is a hug is a hug!

What did you love best about Python's Embrace?

Well the continuation of the characters in Bitten Point of course.

What other book might you compare Python's Embrace to and why?

For excitement? Well just about anything from SE Smith or Laurann Dohner. Both of these authors I can read their books over and over and over again.

What does Chandra Skyye bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Not sure how to answer this question.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yeah pretty much.

Any additional comments?

Eve is a first rate author I love her almost as much as I love SE Smith and Laurann Dohner.

Python cuddle in the bayou.

The mystery deepens around Bit Tech. What you think you know changes with the twisted unknown. Full of action, suspense, mystery, and love. I can't wait to read more about But Tech to see what happens. Worth the 💰.

Shifter suspense continues!

This is a really good shifter suspense series, I like that each story has substance of its own, but that they also contribute to solving the overall mystery. I love how secure Constatine is and that he doesn't hide his love for his little dog Princess! Aria's memory loss is a clever way to have us learn about the secrets along with the characters in the book. I still have one or two unanswered questions about her exact role though! Can't wait for the final installment in the series to find out.

Great Series!

This whole series is wonderful! Be sure to start at the beginning with the Kodiak shifters. That series leads right into this one.

Langlais wrote this? Yawn

This doesn’t feel like a Langlais in ANY way. The story is boring and sort of skippy—feels like it is missing parts, maybe I got an abridged version?

And it is soooooo boring. No humour, bad writing. Seriously, this feels nothing like one of her books.

Narration is alright—she is working hard with this writing!—especially good at voicing his snake-shifter part.
