About this listen

“I might as well disappear into a black hole," he thought aloud.
And in the next instant, that is precisely what happened to Carter Quinn.

Summoned to a fantasy world by a religious sect at the behest of their elven queen, Carter Quinn finds himself suddenly thrust into a tense struggle for power. As the “world-hopper,” Carter holds a mystique he’s not entirely sure he can live up to. But when the voluptuous blonde elf Queen Seema offers him a new life full of wealth, women, and the title of king, he doesn’t take long to give his answer.

Her plan? Unite the elven realms under a single king through marriage. How? By seducing all the single queens into joining Carter in holy matrimony. With their enemies amassing forces on their borders, it’s the only way to ensure their safety. Unite or fall.

Of course, it won’t be an easy feat. Between elven wariness of humans, a dragonrider rebellion, and his own inexperience with magic, Carter’s got his work cut out for him.

But with Queen Seema and her advisor, Priestess Linn, by his side, Carter won’t be alone in his task.

This 30,000 word story contains unconventional romance centered around one male, scenes of physical intimacy, and fantasy violence featuring high octane dragon duels.

Very enjoyable

one of the best stories I've heard, a new favourite; and the virtual voice was very good too, surprisingly

A Fun Read

I wouldn't have purchased this book if it hadn't been on sale, but I'm thrilled that I did. I typically don't buy books under nine hours, so this book was a big exception.
Queen Collector is an enjoyable harem novel. My only complaint is that the second book in the series is not available on Audible, so I bought the Kindle edition.
I highly recommend Queen Collector, it kept my attention through out.

the virtual voice killed it

good enough story but the virtual voice pulled the rating down. I can recommend it in between a series you like and are waiting for the next AB.

Great start of a story AI narrator still needs work

It's a great start of a fantasy novel but really not long enough to be considered a full book. I am looking forward to the rest but I would not pay an audible credit for this novella. since it was free I enjoyed it. If I had paid 11 dollars for it I would be annoyed at the short length of the book. Hoping the author continues the story

The story may be short but its addicting

I felt it was rushed a bit but I loved it anyway. The almost instant relationship with two women probably only happens in wet dreams but hey…I’m not complaining. The MC is instantly likable.

That's the end?

Wasn't there supposed to be multiple weddings? I understand there being one book right now, but there should be more than a tease of uniting the kingdoms and the resolve of there kingdom.

A Fun Isekai With Elves (not for kids)

This is a fun little story about the main character Carter Quinn getting teleported to a fantasy world, full of elves, dragons, and monsters. I really like how they described Carter’s fish out of water attitude. As we get to see the world through his eyes. He will have to save the world by uniting all the elf clans of the mountains.

Pros:This story which is three hours long kept me very captivated. I really like how they portray the magic system in this game. Will not post spoilers here. I feel that Carter’s nervousness as he learns to navigate this new world makes very funny addition to the story. in addition to the story, it has vivid Sex scences which are very fun to listen to and very erotic.

Cons: the story is way too short for all world building, they build up in the first quarter of the story. This has to be the first book in the series. As multiple rates are introduced in the story, but upon the conclusion of it only is taken care of. Well, the story is self is wrapped up quite neatly as a standalone story, I just hope there are more books in this series. As it would make sense for each book to tackle one of the three main threats that were laid out in this book. So be on the lookout for a sequel to the story if you liked it.

The AI generated voice do they lovely job of narrating the story in a sweet, gentle and relaxing tone they could lull you to sleep while also be engaging during times of suspense or combat. It is if the narrator is an elf beauty who is recounting a story she heard long ago do you the reader/listener

Final rating: 4.5 stars out of five. My reasoning for this rating is because the performance of the AI narrator is so captivating and fits perfectly with the theme of the story. While the story is wonderful and gripping with vivid details of the character and interactions and a very descriptive view of the world. However, what keeps it from being a five out of five story for me is the fact that there is room for an overarching story here among multiple books that is not finished. The self contains story is finished I very much want to see what other adventures the world in store for Carter, Quinn and his companions.

So if you will excuse me, I am going to try to find out if this book has a sequel and if so, I’m gonna curl up in my bed at night and listen to this beautifully crafted story before I drift off to sleep. Have a good day or night out there to everyone who took the time to read this whole review!

thoughts

I know it was recorded with AI voice, but I have some issues.

a good portion of the time you don't know which character is speaking as they have no inflection or voice change. there is no emotion in the scenes and it is hard to get into the story. when there is surprise, it is monotone. when there is anger, monotone. the story is alright but I feel like everything is smooshed and it feels like the story is running to the finish instead of guiding you there.

overall, I feel like it was a good premise and story, just feels rushed and monotone with the AI narrator.
