About this listen

It’s New York City’s first snow of the year when an errant truck driver plows into my cabbie from the side.

Alright, no need to panic. Instead of never waking from my crash, I found myself relocated. Before the accident, I was a woman in her late 20s, working as a mid-level banker who was a rising star destined for greatness. I had a propensity to dress fancy, savor my yearnings for both sexes, and I enjoyed a pretty pampered life which made my transition onto a fantasy world a bit tenuous.

You see, Nero—the planet some advanced aliens Isekai’d me to—holds two main species.

The Torunas and the Gnashers.

The Gnashers are huge, volatile, and downright nasty monsters who prey upon the Toruna. Which, spoiler alert, I’m not a Gnasher. I arrived with two arms, two legs, ten digits, my same good looks, and I’ve magically lost five pounds–thanks Truck-Kun.

Basically, I’m on a planet filled with corset-wearing babes who have more fashion sense than a runway in Italy. Besides the great outfits, there are zero men, quests that help me survive as well as level up, and a whole lot of drama.

I either accept my fate or I give up and die.

Thankfully, my momma didn’t raise a quitter, and I’m going to need a whole lotta luck because this is going to be one hell of an adventure.

Will Sabrina have what it takes to not only survive, but thrive as she integrates, explores, discovers, and entwines on Nero.

Pretty interesting book

I really wasn't quite sure what to expect from this book. I do tend to take it easy on the first of a new series as in my experience beginnings tend to be shaky endeavors sometimes even from tried-and-true authors. This one was pretty solid as far as the writing goes. The author appears to be brand new. This is the first book that they have available on Amazon and Audible. Our main character is a young banker type with a fancy suit who enjoys the comforts of life. She was apparently in a physical relationship with a couple they got a little heated between her and the lady of the couple. There was an ultimatum of “him or me” which fell through when she got pregnant thereby leaving our banker to move on with her life. She's leaving her job one night, taking a cab home, when they get T boned by a truck. As I understand it this is stereotypical of certain stories in this genre. Our Lady hero wakes up on this new world slightly changed. The story appears more or less standard, but there are a number of things that set it apart. In the beginning the most obvious one is that in this world there's only one gender which consists of beautiful women with both genitalia. From there you can just kind of extrapolate out what a society like that might look like in a fantasy realm complete with all the associated perks and challenges. I'm going to leave it there because I don't want my review getting bounced by Amazon. Regardless, when I'm leaving a review for the first book of a new story the ultimate question is whether or not I was entertained, and the answer here is yes. After that it's whether or not I would recommend it and I can definitely see where this book might not be for everyone, but you now have been warned. The narrator appears to have quite a few performances under their belt. This was the first time that I've come across this narrator. At first it seemed sort of confusing why they would have picked this person to do the story, but as I progressed it appears that having somebody with a lower register maybe gave them more range. Regardless, I'd be interested in hearing more of their performances. Lastly, I'll just say well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing this story to us, the Audible listeners.

An interesting story.

This story made me feel awkward. Don't get me wrong, Its an interesting story and a nice change from the standard Isekai storyline, however, it was a bunch much for me. Talia Carver did a great job voice acting. Still the story Jessica Savage wrote was unique and many will enjoy it.

Great story should pick up this book

I highly recommend this book. The reason why is because of right now it’s a one off. There might be one in the future but for right now the story does end. It might be a little short but it does have a beginning middle and end.
I like these kinds of books because Time passes and it’s not like the main character just spent one day in the world and that was the whole book.
There is a couple explicit scenes in the book and they’re well written and I really enjoyed the scenes. The main character does go through tribulations and finds her path in this new world. And also has ambitions to fight for that path.
So what makes this a Gamelit Is when the characters reincarnate into this new world they basically get a wrist wash that gives them quests and they get points from doing those quests. Then they can use those points to redeem for goods in the virtual store or they can transfer 1 point to 1 gold coin. Obviously you can buy things in the real world but for certain circumstances you may need to buy it from the virtual store.
There’s just enough world building to make the world interesting as well as I really enjoyed at the beginning of the book the God that transferred her to the New World explains a good amount of it lol. So it doesn’t just leaving you in the dark about what’s going onto the main character.
Either way if you’re looking for a short complete book I recommend this

not what I expected

ok so this is an odd book for a guy to pick up. I was hoping for I don't know what. but the whole thing came together rather well. this did not lean an any direction as far as "G" or "L" or any other of the lettered orientations. the action is good the knee jerk skills of survival seem like plot armor but remember the beginning of the story things were changed modified and stuff. over all it's nice I hope this review gets more people past the title and past the cover as some say in libraries

Hot at first.

Alright at first, but goes off the rails fast. The main character is a freaking genius and it gets dumb by the end.

Well... that was something

It was something new for me, I wasn't too sure about it going into it. I had an idea from the title but wasn't quite sure and was scared to google futa. yep it is what I thought it was. Chicks with Dicks.
And ya know what? The story wasn't all that bad, I actually liked the way the story went, the world and system kept my interest. The sex scenes were a little awkward to be sure since this isn't my cup of tea at all but it wasn't the worst thing I've heard. It didn't kill me and I moved on, so that being said I think I summed it up for everyone with the following.
Chicks with dicks
Sex scenes with said chicks
Interesting story with an interesting world system thats overall entertaining

Surprisingly good fun

Knowing exactly what the title was, I was genuinely surprised to find a heartfelt and tender love story with a few kinky scenes sprinkled in for some extra spice.

The narrator did a fairly good job. Clean audio and much of the dialogue sounded natrual. My only complaint is that a few of the voices all blended together and that it was hard to identify who was speaking at times. With nearly the entire cast being female, it's not too surprising that one person would struggle to voice them all.

While the story was fairly simple and the inciting incident was as tropey as can be, the author crafted an interesting world with great characters. The story felt both a little undercooked and rushed, but was still quite enjoyable from beginning to end. I wasn't the biggest fan of its game-like system of quests, but they served as interesting plot devices.

I loved how the author made the story more than just a woman running around with a newfound penis. There was genuine connection and maturity in the relationships depicted.

Overall I am happy I picked this up on a whim. I hope to read more soon.
