About this listen

Searching for gods isn't easy, especially when they don't want to be found.

A quiet life is what Hathor deserves now that fewer people remember her name. But when another goddess enlists her to the fight against spreading chaos, she finds herself out in the world for the first time in thousands of years.

Finding the other gods turns out to be the least of her worries. Somehow, she has to convince them to actually help her, and that's not as easy as she'd hoped.

Quest of the Goddess is the first book in the Queen of Gods Trilogy and is based on Ancient Egyptian Mythology. It includes a slow burn romance between Hathor and Amun.

I love reading about the Gods and Goddesses. Hathor is a wonderful character and in her quest to form an alliance of the Gods to battle Seth's chaos, her determination to complete her quest and save the world is apparent. I loved the new friendships she forged and the betrayal she faced broke my heart for her. I mean she's kept to herself and not let anyone close for years and she finally begins to consider a relationship and it doesn't work the way she hoped.

This was a wonderful start to Hathor's story.

Good story. I really like that it is based on Egyptian mythology, which there are relatively few books out there based on.

Good story
