I got bored listening to other learning language books because they took so much time to explain things like verb endings and tense. Cool if you're interested in linguistics and grammar, but not what I wanted.
In this book's first chapter I learned "vorrei" "I would like" and "per favore" "please" after chapter 1 I can say 20 useful phrases by using : vorrei "noun" per favore.
The music also helps me recall words I've forgotten. I think about the music in the chapter and that usually helps me pull the word.

The program also breaks down chapters nicely for numbers, dates, and other key areas so it's easy to jump back to a section you need to review. I can't wait for Volume II to arrive.
Why didn't someone think of this sooner!

As there may be others like me 'out there' I am reviewing this.
From being a kid I have filtered out sounds I do not like. Sometimes it is voluntary, sometimes not. So if I am in a situation where the conversation has no interest for me I listen to.. something elce..., or simply tune out.
Sadly I do not like the music behind the voice in this audio. So I automatically 'tune out'.
I do it with radio too, until I hear something that interests me.
There is a free system for vocab called BYKI. Good for vocab and pronunciation. I am now using both.
I am not going to write 'this system does not work' because I think if you like or tolerate 'musack' type sounds then it would work.
I would like to have an alternative to the background sounds provided. Fit it to Chopin or some good Miles Davis and I would now be able to converse with the cabbie in Italian.
I am persevering and ...if you want to try this...Kushti Buk ('good luck'..in Romany)
A good idea and..
