Yummy Intrigue

I was given a free copy of this Audiobook In exchange for an honest review. This was a very enjoyable story about 3 generations of women who loves sweets and get involved in a little bit of murder. Definitely recommend. Looking forward to reading more of her books!

Loved this cozy!

Things are never the same when you go home after moving away. Sabrina finds this out firsthand when she ventures back to Treasure Cove to visit her daughter Jessica. The one thing that does stay the same is there seems to always be a murder to solve! Will Sabrina help the new junior detective, Jessica find the guilty party? Talk about fun! It’s a blast seeing the town through Sabrina’s eyes and having her help with the case is just icing on the cake.. or shipped cream on the raspberry chiffon! This is one of my favorites, maybe because I feel like I have grown up with Sabrina or that raspberry is my favorite, but I really enjoyed this one. Quick, quirky and delicious, Stephanie Quinn keeps it fun and fresh.

Raspberry Chiffon with a Side of Murder

Going home to visit your daughter is supposed to be relaxing, but unfortunately this is not what happens for Sabrina. Once again a murder has taken place in Treasure Cove and even though she tries, Sabrina get sucked right into the case. A fun Murder mystery to listen to and take you away for a while.

Entertaining who dunit

I don’t know how the author Meredith Potts comes up with the titles for her books, but I love them. Raspberry Chiffon With A Side Of Murder was a good mystery with suspense, intrigue and enough clues to keep me guessing..

Returning to Treasure Cove to visit her daughter, another murder occurs, but Sabrina is determined to focus on visiting her daughter and not the town’s latest murder. However that of course is easier said than done and Sabrina soon finds herself drawn in to the investigation.
This is another well written story that kept my attention. Narrator Stephanie Quinn did a good job and I enjoyed her performance.

Sabrina has a homecoming

I have really loved to see the evolution of Sabrina a a lead character. She went from solving crimes and shielding her daughter from it, to now being the one who stays away from her hometown while her daughter is solving crimes! It’s really fantastic character development, and makes this series much more personal.
I enjoyed this installment just like I enjoy all the others. Very enjoyable and well narrated!

I'm glad the series didn't end with the retirement

Raspberry Chiffon with a Side of Murder

This is an audible book I requested and the review is voluntary.
After retirement and living the quiet life, Sabrina goes back to her old town for a visit with her daughter. While there, another murder happens. Sabrina says she will stay out of the once but the case comes to her!
A great, emotional story with lots of feelings of being a mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. Mystery was good but I think the feelings lead this book!
Great narration as usual.

Sabrina investigates a new murder

I've read several books in this series and always out of order. I recently read the book where Sabrina was dating her husband and in this book, they are retired. Hmm. Maybe I should read them in order. In any case, I was easily able to follow the story. Sabrina and her husband have retired and moved away. However, their daughter is still on the police force in their own town so Sabrina goes to visit her. Unfortunately, the timing is bad because there has been a murder. Sabrina tries to steer clear of the investigation, but she gets drawn in anyway. This is a cozy mystery and although there is some violence, this book can be read by most people without issue. I enjoy the stories and the narrator does a good job.

A nice read

Another wonderful small town cozy with no gangs, terrorists, or erotica but good sleuthing and family involvement. Each book is easily stand alone but addictive! David and Sabrina have retired from their home town and moved an hour away, but their daughter, Jessica, is still there working for the local department. Things are a little hairy because Jessica is in training to become a police detective and Sabrina is fussing but helps out like she used to do for her husband. Good sleuthing!
Narrator Stephanie Quinn is as perky as ever.
