About this listen

“You have an easy way of explaining things.” - Shirley Maclaine

See what is not being shown and hear what is not being said. Did you know that a micro-gesture occurs 1/8 of a second before a word is spoken? Or how about the person that pats you on the back while hugging you is actually uncomfortable? When you try to impress her and she smiles without showing “crows feet” around her eyes, don’t feel good about yourself. By looking at a desk, tell how the person reacts to pressure. Find what a person is most insecure about, and what they truly feel towards you. Reading people takes observing people. Through the exercises in this audio book you will get more comfortable doing so, and the techniques can help you in your personal and professional life. Don’t guess! Let them tell you everything!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I found the material typical and uninspired. The author's obvious agenda to set his personal record straight and get in some digs, irritated me.

love this piece, learnt a lot from it. Enhances my observation, as I do believe that there is a reason behind everyone's behaviour. There are some details that I was missing, so I'm glad I decided to get this title.

This book does nothing but state the obvious. I only made it through two and a half chapters, but suffice it to say, I learned nothing. Very poor writing with no real substance.

Full of ridiculous generalizations
