About this listen

The plot is fast paced, the narrators are engaging, and the story is an excellent addition to Lu's popular dystopian works." (AudioFile magazine)

Respect the Legend. Idolize the Prodigy. Celebrate the Champion. But never underestimate the Rebel.

With unmatched suspense and her signature cinematic storytelling, number one New York Times best-selling author Marie Lu plunges listeners back into the unforgettable world of Legend for a truly grand finale.

Eden Wing has been living in his brother’s shadow for years. Even though he’s a top student at his academy in Ross City, Antarctica, and a brilliant inventor, most people know him only as Daniel Wing’s little brother.

A decade ago, Daniel was known as Day, the boy from the streets who led a revolution that saved the Republic of America. But Day is no longer the same young man who was once a national hero. These days he’d rather hide out from the world and leave his past behind. All that matters to him now is keeping Eden safe - even if that also means giving up June, the great love of Daniel’s life.

As the two brothers struggle to accept who they’ve each become since their time in the Republic, a new danger creeps into the distance that’s grown between them. Eden soon finds himself drawn so far into Ross City’s dark side, even his legendary brother can’t save him. At least not on his own...

Featured Article: Excellent Dystopian Listens Like The Hunger Games

The popularity of Suzanne Collins’s The Hunger Games trilogy and its film adaptations has paved the way for so many great dystopian books and series in YA, imagining harrowing worlds where teens must fight for survival and define what life means to them. The enduring popularity of the series has proven that dystopian stories and the sometimes-dark futures they imagine are endlessly fascinating to our imaginations.

The perfect end to a wonderful book series. Well worth the wait. The performance was a fantastic compliment to the text itself.

This volume is exactly what this story needed! I loved the initial story of Day and June but I felt like there was no closer. This book closes every open end that Champion left open. in the most perfect way!

AMAZING 😍

This chapter of the Legend Saga is as good as the others, the story is narrated from the perspective of different characters, like in previous books. Characters only get better and although I wish I had more of some, it is not bad. The pace is great with no forced expositions and the dept of new characters is rich as it has been in previous titles.
It's a rollercoaster of emotions, the perfect mix of action, character development and romance and the voices and interpretation of the narratiors is on point,
I really enjoyed it!

I definitely enjoyed Eden's story but am also still obsessed with Day, so I obviously appreciated all the scenes with both Day and June, as it seems like I have craved those for 6 years.

This one is set in Antarctica, which is a different society, with a unique government, which made for some interesting layers and issues.

I was very happy that this author gave this book series a proper ending!
the only thing that I was upset with is that it took this author 6 long years to finally give legend the ending it deserved between June and Day.
I have never cared for those "what if endings" like this author originally went with at the end of champion. this was much better and overall this book was enjoyable threw out.

great

Amazing book!! Love the new voice actor for Eden, but I’m confused why the pronunciation for a couple names got changed. Couldn’t stop coming back to it, super compelling story!!
