About this listen

In Rebuild the Dream, green economy pioneer Van Jones reflects on his journey from grassroots outsider to White House insider. For the first time, he shares intimate details of his time in government – and reveals why he chose to resign his post as a special advisor to the Obama White House. Jones puts his hard-won lessons to good use, proposing a powerful game plan to restore hope, fix our democracy and renew the American Dream.

This was a very moving narrative that recharged old ideals about democracy that I abandoned in my youth. I was truly inspired by his views on what we, as a Nation need, to move forward and succeed...and his chronicles of his white house experiences, and the ideals that motivated his Green collar agenda. It's a symphony of well- thought-out reason.

Insightful and magnetic

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Van Jones is one of my all time favorites and should be our President.

Enjoyable !

I was hoping this book was more of a middle of the road view of how and why Obama became so popular. While the author made some good points the embellishment of the numbers is quite telling in the fact of the sensationalism that is the problem with today’s media and political commentary

Definitely a propaganda book for progressives and liberals
