About this listen

Inspired by classic science fiction such as Contact by Carl Sagan and the film Explorers, Reckless Faith is a fascinating slow burn that ignites into a bonfire by the second book in the series.

If you had the chance to construct a spacecraft using alien technology, would you embark on the project yourself or turn it over to the government? Reckless Faith is a story about three friends who choose to pursue this seemingly impossible task, no matter what the cost. When an alien device appears in the woods of northern New Hampshire, John, Ray, and Arianna are the first ones to find it, and soon realize it is offering them a unique opportunity.

Will they be able to accomplish it alone?

Aliens, Technology and Three Friends

This book may start off slow and monotonous but I guarantee if you hang in there it gets exciting and intriguing. The introduction of the characters is a bit tedious but well developed. The plot is creative and unique and builds to a a fantastic climax that will make it worth listening to. This is my honest unbiased review that I am voluntarily leaving.

disappointing

stilted dialogue and uninteresting story. At least the diction of the narrator was clear.

seriously fun

even though the science is off I enjoyed it. I mean for real when she's teaching her class and she says if we came from monkeys. no scientist is going to say it that way. we didn't come from monkeys we evolved alongside them we have a common ancestor. common ancestor doesn't mean that we came for monkeys. what that means is further back in the evolutionary tree there was a Divergence and monkeys evolved separately but had shared genetics. we evolved in a different path. anyway
