Publisher's summary

Indian Hill 2: Reckoning starts where the first book in the series left off. After escaping from the Progerian Alien vessel, Michael Talbot is now given the opportunity to hide in obscurity with the rest of the human race or rise to the occasion and once again find himself immersed in a battle that he wants nothing to do with.

Mike goes home and while reconnecting with a family that believed him dead he decides to join whatever resistance force can be mustered to repel the oncoming invasion. As the world of man gets thrust towards the abyss of extinction, two women in love with the same man make a desperate bid to travel across the country to reunite with him.

Mike will suffer the ultimate betrayal from those he loves the most. Will mankind fall and be ground to dust like so many other civilizations, or will the tiny humans thwart a takeover? Only time and shed blood will tell.

Mike at his best.

This is for me when the series takes off.. No pun intended. The last half of the book and the rest of the series is fantastic. The final fight is great. Mike begins to come into his own. Not the weaker Mike we see from the beginning of the series but one who is a leader and has that swagger but is still humble in some ways and yet all mouth. The Mike we love.

Twists and turns!

Such a great follow up to the first installment. Watching our characters come to terms with both what had happened and what they know is still coming was some great storytelling. Tufo continues to impress and Runnette is brilliant as always.

The Reasons I Love Michael Talbot

Saving those who need saving. I'd like to think more people would have done what Michael did in the arena and save those he could. but.... I've seen plenty of times when someone I consider a friend turns on me for personal gain. Good people are few and far between unfortunately. I do have one question for Mark though. What happened to the band? They took everyone from the concert but what happened to Widespread Panic? Even if they didn't get taken or were not there yet I'd like to hear that story. Maybe you could write us(your fans) a fun short story.

Great series so far.

I really like your stories. Keep them coming. I thought Mike was going through it in the Lycon wars, these aliens are proving to be a little worse. I'm very interested in how all this will shake out. Grat job Sir!

Excellent

Mark Tufo just understands how to tell a great story. I wondered if I could like this version of Michael Talbot as much as the ZF version. I do, this story is great for someone who knows the “Talbot-verse” or someone brand new. The proof that it’s good is how fast I will be buying a third book…done. Thanks for another great series!

Awesome

Another great book by a great author.
Mr Tufo is in my top 2 favorite authors.
I was hesitant to read this series because I don't generally read SYFY especially about aliens. But, I loved the Zombie Fallout series. So, I thought I'd try it out and I'm glad I did.

If you love action, military, aliens, love triangles, fist fights and apocalypse give Indian Hill a try.

True fan!

Don’t bother to waste your time reading any review that isn’t a five star. I have I have read all of the zombie fallout series so far and many other of Mark’s books and I have yet to be disappointed. I will always enjoy any of Mike Talbot’s adventures. Whether he is fighting zombies or aliens. The names might be the same but the story lines are very different and unique. I laugh, I cry and just simply enjoy everything about Mark’s books. Sean is an amazing narrator and he brings life to the characters in a way that I’m sure only he can do! You’re amazing Mark! Keep the books coming, you have a lifelong fan here! I never reveal anything about the storyline in my review, you’re just going to have to read the book to see how the saga continues. Sure worth my time! Would love another zombie fallout book, hope there’s a 13 in the making. Thanks again for another great book!
