Publisher's summary

The quote goes, "Revenge is a dish best served cold."

However, the minute the prison door clanged shut behind Allison Branch, she began to plot her revenge. Allison knew she would need a new face, a new identity, and new friends to carry out the intricate plan she was forming. She would eliminate all the people who had wronged her, and her list was getting longer.

With a new face and identity, she could be anyone, anywhere, even your neighbor next door.

The listener will be gasping at the lengths that Allison will go against Mike Parsons and his friends.

Very Good!

The story moves FAST and kept me engaged so that I had a hard time putting it down! Only 1 criticism...too many repeats of the same 'info'. Girlfriend has saved him, Allison was wronged because Mike didn't choose her, etc. This did not take away from the excellence of the story.
I listened to the audiobook version of this book and Paul McSorely, the narrator is one of my favorite. His voice, his story telling, his characters is like listening to a movie while doing something else. I could listen to him all day...and do!
I am so ready for book 3!

Provocative Mystery

I liked the second book of "The Mike Parsons' Trilogy" as much as the first one. The story was convoluted. Because it was longer, there was more character development, and I liked that more of the tale was from Allison's viewpoint. There were more surprising and fascinating events that kept me interested in the tale. I liked the story, but all of Mike's repetitive introspection got a little tiresome for me. Paul J McSorley's narration was good, and his performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
