About this listen

Olive is a Los Angeles bartender who has been unlucky in love. She hopes that will change when one of the best-looking men she's ever seen walks into her bar. But he’s not what he seems.

Austin is tall, charismatic, and compellingly attractive. But unbeknownst to the smitten Olive, Austin is not dating her for her beauty, but merely for her usefulness. He and his childhood friend have set a depraved plan in motion.

Becca is a grifter and a con-artist looking for her one big score. She’s found out that Olive’s boss has hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash at his house in the Pacific Palisades. Becca will do anything to make it hers.

Olive becomes the unknowing intermediary and Austin her willing co-conspirator, but both are instruments in Becca’s orchestration. She will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Not even murder.

The Bartender is a twisting, multi-narrative thriller told through the eyes of a brave heroine and unforgettable villains: Olive, the strong but innocent young woman dragged into something sinister. Austin, sensing this will all end horribly, but without the gumption to stop it. And Becca, dollar signs dancing in her eyes, with no regard for human life.

Another great story from the mind of Brian O’Sullivan. I am very happy to support his work because it is good!

The narrators did a great job, though there were definitely some hiccups in the editing and spots where there were background noises. I didn’t let that take away from this enjoyable listen.

A great psychological thriller about a crazy woman driven by greed. There is blackmail, conspiracy, murder and a bit of romance. It will keep you on edge. Tha narrator was good but there were some notable errors. Sisters Spotlight.

This is a great story however the editors did an awful job. There were at least 25 times where I noticed repeats in the conversation or the snapping in the background to remind them to redo their lines. The editing company did a disservice to the author and the voice actors.

Great story, terrible editing.

Such a good story line, and the story got better & better as it progressed. The last few chapters had me on the edge of my seat!

Full of Twists and Turns

Well crafted story, engaging narration. There were several glitches in the recording and several places where background noise could be heard. These were distracting. But overall it was a great listen!

Great story despite the recording glitches

for a self published author, HE KILLED IT! nothing crazy twisty, but it was super entertaining! I definitely recommend! I will say that my only "critique" was that in some parts the audio quality wasn't great. you could occasionally hear the mic being bumped or moved and words were repeated but otherwise, it was stellar!

Loved!
