Publisher's summary

A moving, delightful collection of stories that celebrate the canine-human bond.

In this heartwarming work, we reunite with the lovable rescue dog and subject of the cherished book Arthur as he settles into his new life abroad. As we follow Arthur’s ups and downs with his owner, author Mikael Lindnord, we also meet 16 other rescue dogs, each with a surprising story of how they found their forever home. From Ecuador to America, Australia to the Yukon, and everywhere in between, remarkable canine encounters prove that dogs really are our best friends - and that their journeys to find love and acceptance are as compelling as our most famed human tales.

An Enjoyable Listen

Arthur’s story was the centerpiece for the other rescue dogs’ tales. If stories of animal rescues resonate with you, then chances are you’ll be satisfied with this book. It was also interesting to learn a bit about the author’s adventure sport. Overall this book is enjoyable and makes for easy listening.

could not finish, disappointed

Don't get me wrong I like adventure books but this was much more an adventure book about the owners of dogs than about the dogs themselves. I thought it would be as told through what we perceive as a dog's eye of being finally adapted. It was nothing like that. also the narration was all male, even if the owner in the story what's female.. I couldn't finish the book I felt like it was just an afterthought both in narration and subject matter.
