Publisher's summary

The Sterlings have been through hell. They’ve each made mistake after mistake while trying to climb out of their grief and guilt and recover from an unimaginable tragedy that had a ripple effect of consequences reaching far further than their own lives.

It seems the youngest Sterling may never find peace after everything that’s happened. But the love he has for his nephew is more powerful than any amount of pride.

The family is back together. Can they help him find his identity and restore his heart? And will that lead him to his true love?

All will be revealed in the final book of the Sterlings.

Listening to Restrictions before this one is a must! Highly recommended to listen to Regrets, Restrictions, and Restrained first.

Beautifully narrated, complex & romantic story!

Y'all - Ash & Viv will take hold of your heart and have you screaming at them to just figure their shit out! :) This book takes you through all the emotions as we continue the story of the Sterlings and see what's in store for Asher, Vivienne, Sawyer, and Baz.

This book was wonderfully narrated by Dash Coleman and Thurlow Holmes. They really bring Ash & Viv to life in a beautifully poignant and heartfelt way. Highly recommend!

Loved the book loved the audio

I love this series and no matter if I read it or I listen I am still so in love with this family and this couple! The narrators were absolutely perfect for Ash and Viv. Bringing there characters to life with amazing perfection. This series is still one of my all time faves and I highly recommend it because the series as a whole encompasses so many romances genres (dark, second chance, childhood sweet hearts just to name a few)

With the book hangovers from Restrictions and Redemption waiting for this book as been agony. Nicole does not disappoint with the final book of the Family family and nails it. I would give this entire series all the stars. Each book alone is amazing but together they are an epic story of love and hate, life and loss and just gut wrenching in the emotional angst she throws your way. This book takes you’re heart through an emotional rollercoaster just like all the others. I cried tears for this couple because Nicole does a phenomenal job of make all her characters so real and you become so invested. I’m not giving anything away because I don’t want to ruin anything for you but when books have lines like this I’m still the fool in love with the broken boy, and he’s still, well . . . broken”. How can you not want to hug the poor girl. Get your snacks and your tissue because once you start trying to adult seems much less important then reading the next line. Hands down one of my favorite series of the year!

Mr Sterling, a perfect end to this series

“And that’s love, isn’t it? Fixing what’s broken inside a person by merely being there?” Review: This is 4th and Final book in the Sterling series. It picks up right where book 3, Restrained, left off. It focuses on Asher and Viv's relationship. I have loved this beautiful and broken set of siblings. I was hooked once started this one and didn't want to stop! I couldn't wait for this book after the cliffhanger that Restrictions left us with. I was scared and excited. I will say the beginning broke my heart. Right off the bat! Nicole didn't hold back. Then little by little she began stitching my heart back together until it was fully healed by the end. Asher was so broken and hurting that I just wanted to hug him at times and smack him upside the head at other times. The guilt he carries and abandonment issues tugged so hard on my heart. Asher's relationship with Baz was definitely my favorite part of this series. I really couldn't get enough of how much he loved that little boy. Asher's career choice made me swoon and want to jump him.😏 This book and series is raw and real making you feel everything. I don't want to give anything away, but this was a perfect conclusion to this broken family that little by little was healed and brought back together through love. I love that we got to enjoy the family throughout and that they are so involved in each other's lives. I got to listen to this audiobook narrated by Dash Coleman and Thurlow Holmes reprising their roles of Asher and Viv. I love Dash Coleman's voice. He was THE perfect Asher. He gave another phenomenal performance catching the inflections, swearing and of course the cuteness with Baz. He nailed Asher yet again. He was 100% believable and felt so real! I can't wait to listen to him again. Dash and Thurlow both did a fantastic job. Thurlow was a great Vivenne!

Perfect Conclusion to Viv & Asher's Story

Man Oh Man!! My heart!! Finally, Viv and Asher’s story comes to an end. The Sterlings stole my heart from the start. The tragedy that broke their family and the aftermath absolutely gutted me. Viv and Asher’s story started two books ago and we finally get to see how their story ends. Their relationship was an emotional rollercoaster, so many ups and downs. This last book was full of angst, pain, tension, and eventually redemption. Asher is stubborn, and Viv doesn’t give up on loving him. Their chemistry is passionate and undeniable. I felt Asher’s pain and guilt, it was understandable, but when Viv tried to be there for him, he lashed out and hurt her. It was frustrating at times, because I wanted to strangle him, so they would just be together already!! I was so happy when they finally gave in to their feelings and worked on finding love. As for Sawyer, his story with Piper sounds super angsty and I can’t wait to find out more. Furthermore, the narration was great! Dash Coleman and Thurlow Holmes were the perfect Viv & Asher. They really brought the angst and everything else to life. I’m so glad I heard this book on audio and it was the wonderful conclusion to this series.

Restorations

Restorations is the fourth book in The Sterlings series. This book is told from dual points of view from Asher and Vivienne.

Asher is done with college and feels that everyone left him. Vivienne went to stay with his sister, so he decides to go there too to get more time with his nephew. When he gets there he forces Vivenne to stay at the same house, so he can have nephew time.

Vivienne is still sleeping with Asher's ex best friend, and it's making it hard on Asher. He still has feelings for her, but doesn't want to be in a committed relationship. However they both have feelings for each other and end up sleeping with each other more than once.

As the book goes on, Asher realizes he isn't going to end up like his father. He gets a job as a teacher at his nephew's school and is there when he needs him. Will Asher realize he's more than he thinks and end up with Vivienne? Both Vivienne and Asher had some growing to do, and I feel that over the two books they both learned a lot about themselves.

I really enjoyed this book and feel the narrators really brought this book to life! It was a great listening experience.

The Sterlings

Restorations (The Sterlings, Book 4) is hard to say goodbye to the characters and their stories. I absolutely love The Sterlings and Restorations brings Asher and Viv's romance to a hea. Asher and Viv are very complex and complicated and so are there feelings. Nicole Dykes digs deep into the souls of the characters and draws them out. I absolutely love Asher and Viv's romance and raw real emotions that played out. I'm very excited for Sawyer to get his own story, maybe a spinoff. A beautifully written story that brings joy, laughter, sadness, and sorrow. Having heartbreak and keeping the memories alive cherishing The Sterlings forever.

Dash Coleman, Thurlow Holmes dual narration performance was phenomenal. I feel like these two are Asher and Viv. They are exactly how I would picture Asher and Viv. I love, love, love the performance. Smooth and easy listening. Dash's inflection is addictive to listen to and Thurlows sweet inflection is comfort to the ears.

Excellent story and narration. I highly recommend listening.

HEA

Story: 4 ⭐️
Steam: 4/6 🔥
Audio: 3 🎧

I loved the ending of this series. I was happy to get a HEA for Ash. I have loved him during the series. I love Bas, he’s a sweet thing 🥰 I do wish we would have gotten a bit more time with them being happy but I did enjoy their story.

Audiobook Performance: I’m not a huge fan of this female narrator. The performance overall was good. There was a few of the chapters in Viv’s perspective that had dead air at the end.

Great Conclusion!

This is the fourth book in The Sterling Series, a series of interconnected stories, and intertwined characters. This story is emotional, complex, and beautifully written. This is a great conclusion to Asher and Viv' story (from Restrictions, book 2). Dash Coleman and Thurlow Holmes did a fantastic job with the narration. I enjoyed it.

Weak heroin

I got this on sale and glad I didn’t pay full price. I didn’t like the story. The h was treated like a piece of meat and she took it. She had no back bones. It was ok that the H can have sex with no attachment. However, when the h did it, she was treated as a whore. She just allowed the H to say and treated her with no respect. I like the flow of the story and the performance. It sucks that the characters were not like able. I like to give 1/2 of star for the story.
