About this listen
Book 1 of a new series I have titled, "An Appalachian Trail Adventure". No doubt, the hike would be challenging and even more so for my daughter and my friend. "The trail" can be an unforgiving and dangerous place. And on this adventure, we experience it all! A real-life outdoor adventure that has never been told to the world...until now. Read the author's personal thoughts that were written 12 years ago, as it happened. Read about the countless "angels" on the trail that the author and his group ran into that increased the likelihood of their success, from the human side to the celestial side.
From near-death experiences to the events that changed each of their lives. Every step of the way, you will follow their path, as it was walked. The Appalachian Trail is one of America's hardest trails to complete and every day a new challenge awaits the hikers. As simple as it may seem to the un-experienced eye, the Appalachian Trail is a long-distance footpath through 14 states that takes hikers on some of the best and most memorable steps they will ever take in their lives. Come with the author and his family, as they "Return To The AT" and experience, "An Appalachian Trail Adventure!"

Story
Just before her 40th birthday, Gail Francis quit her perfectly good job and set out to hike one of the great trails of the world. Carrying everything she needed on her back, Francis spent five months walking from Mexico to Canada along the Pacific Crest Trail. Along the way, she lost her pack scrambling over scree in the desert, struggled to navigate high mountain passes, and wore the soles off her boots trekking across lava fields - all within some of the most pristine wilderness in the nation. Though she set out alone, her story includes an eclectic cast of characters.

Story
For backpackers, America’s long trails hold a special place of honor. To have hiked the entire length of the Appalachian Trail, Continental Divide Trail or Pacific Crest Trail is a tremendous accomplishment. Hiking all three, the “Triple Crown” of backpacking, is an experience the vast majority of us can only dream about. For those that aspire to take an epic thru-hike, but can’t commit months at a time to the endeavor, there are other options. In fact, there is a Triple Crown of shorter “long trails” that require weeks, not months to complete. These trails provide much of the ...

Terrible!
The computer reader constantly refers to the “at” instead of the “A.T.” It only got worse from there. Atrocious writing.

Why even publish this?
Yeah, this should have just stayed a private travel journal. Not interesting in the slightest, made worse by having a AI narrator. Just all around lazy.
