About this listen

"Hello, I'm a pharmacist. Perhaps I can be of assistance."

After the death of his fiancee due to medical errors, hospital pharmacist Daniel O'Dwyer escapes to Oak Island, North Carolina. The only things on his mind are fresh sea air, fresh seafood, Fat Tire Amber Ale, and the avoidance of any type of healthcare institution. But fate and jellyfish draw him back, and reluctantly, he agrees to go undercover to combat narcotic drug diversion at nearby Boiling Grove Community Hospital.

With minimal assistance from Willie, his socially imbalanced sidekick, Daniel must navigate through dangerous situations and wild characters, including a brawny redneck with a Bob Marley tattoo; a foreign physician with batlike qualities; and a lackluster human resources director with a penchant for mai tais and Ebenezer Scrooge.

Very enjoyable story. Since I love to vacation on Oak Island and have visited many of the places mentioned in the book. This was a pleasant reminder of those times.

fun book

THE AUTHOR HAS A CRAZY FUNNY IMAGINATION AND I HAD TO SMILE AND LAUGH OUT LOUD. WHICH MAKES UP A PERFECT
BOOK FOR ME. BUT...................... THEN THE STORY WOULD JUMP LIKE THEY LOST A FEW PAGES INTO ANOTHER SEGMENT.
WHICH REALLY FOULS MY NEAT AND ORDERLY STORYTELLING BRAIN. OVER ALL I ENJOYED IT BUT WHETHER I WANT
TO PUT MYSELF IN THAT POSITION AGAIN I CAN'T DECIDE. JELLY FISH INSIDE MALE SWIM TRUNKS WAS A BRILLIANT
PICTURE.

EMPTY SPACES AND HILARIOUS BITS

This book was really funny and entertaining. It oozed with sarcasm, which I loved. Cute story and plot. It’s neat to recognize places in a story. Wasn’t crazy about the narrator at first but then I grew used to him and really enjoyed the book.

I could tell from the first sentence this was going to be bad. Trying too hard to be funny, it just fell flat from the beginning.
Don’t waste a credit.

Diabolically cringe-worthy

Good story. Absolutely butchered the narration though. Tried listening a few times but the narrator is painfully annoying.

Poor performance
