The past books Marcus Sloss has written has always left questions that I wanted answers. However, this book brought everything together by the end so that nothing was left to the examination. Well done, I'm hoping for more books like this in the future.

"I just finished reading Rise of a Pirate Lord by Marcus Sloss and it was a thrilling adventure from start to finish. The characters were well-developed and the plot kept me on the edge of my seat. Highly recommend for fans of fantasy and pirate tales!"

A great second addition to this trilogy!

Pretty good but each book is getting shorter and shorter which is upsetting. Not sure how many there will be but if trend continues to go shorter then you'll lose customers.

good continuation

Narration was amazing but the writing is average in this book and sometimes boring ....because MC is overpowered ... never faces an setbacks or trauma ...very cocky ....very woman falls for him .....and very average plain naughty scenes ....Marcus right a story of him having setbacks ...get taught a lesson ... women getting kidnapped .....writing something that makes him want Revenge ....Hardcore sexy scenes .....SPICY THE WHOLE DAMN SERIES UP .....PLEASE ....

This Book is Average ...Average Writing

Great series

The main character is still way too opinionated about his skills but it wasn’t as bad this time. I keep hoping that it will change but at least it isn’t “poor pity me, I’m having a mental breakdown…”

Mr. Sloss is usually better than this but I’m going to listen to something else before I finish this series.

Getting bored with “I’m so good…”

Fun little story. Apparently pirates have an aristocracy, with "pirate lords" appointed by the other pirate lords. It's amusing to me that the pirates will actually call them "pirate lords" instead of "lords."

The hero has to outmaneuver enemies within the pirates, attain the rank of pirate lord, and do well in battles against the elven navy. As for the larger plot, the betrayals within high elven society and their projects to unleash monsters on the world - not much of that here, but presumably those developments and resolutions will take place in the third book.

It's alright
