Publisher's summary

When secrets from Bourne's past come to light, he may be the next thing that's buried in this latest entry in the legendary New York Times bestselling series.

It's been over a decade since Nash Rollins recruited a brilliant, talented, but disaffected young man named David Webb to join Treadstone. Webb became the agent known as Cain—and later took on the identity of Jason Bourne.

That violent winter—which included Cain’s first mission for Treadstone—was also a story of betrayal in ways that David never knew. So after the injury that erased Bourne’s whole life, Nash lied about the circumstances of David’s recruitment to Treadstone. He was afraid that learning the truth might drive Bourne out of the agency forever.

But now, when Bourne meets a woman who recognizes him as David Webb, the secrets of those days begin to come out—and Bourne is forced to confront the dangerous ghosts of a past he doesn’t even remember.

Check out this book I guarantee you won’t be disappointed from start to finish

This book is written and narrated at such a high-level you can’t help but think you’re watching a first rate spy thriller

Good read with suspense and twists & turns that were riveting

The narrator was over dramatic. Bourne’s character was somewhat of a caricature, he was portrayed like a “dog with a bone” who couldn’t let go of finding the person he sought and gave in to sexual circumstances quite readily. He did not seem like a man who was complex as a top notch spy would be

Loved it!

Another great story in the Jason Bourne series! I listen to every single Brian Freeman book as soon as it's released. I was glad I forgot to pre order this one as it was a great surprise when I was searching for his next new release! The only sad thing is, I finished it in one day! Now I wait for his new stand alone,

Weak Jason Bourne

This is a very weak Bourne, always at the mercy of women and unable to recognize danger. Unnecessary vulgar language and explicit sex scenes. Definitely a disappointment.

Who is this guy

It’s as if the author has no idea who Jason is supposed to be. He wrote a book about about a fumbling bumbling agent who would have been killed off in the first chapter. Do not waste your time or energy on this book

Awful

Lame story and awful narration. Predictable and nothing new. Way too much time — the whole book — was history of Bourne

This is Bourne’s Legacy? G*d Help Us…

Loved the movies. This?? Shallow plot, poorly written, stilted predictable conversations, unnatural prose and possibly the worst narrator, absolute torture. You’ve ruined Bourne. I’ll not be back.
