Publisher's summary

Contains books three and four of the best-selling Rock & Roll Forever series.

Almost Everything

Morgan and Sawyer's story.

Rock star on the run!

Morgan left everything behind. When his past finally catches up, he has nothing to lose. Except one last chance at love.

The most mysterious member of Razor’s Edge, Morgan McCloud had all kinds of good reasons to keep his past a secret. On the run and desperate to protect the only person he ever loved, he changed his name, altered his appearance, and tried to blend in. In the process, he found a family, a rock band of brothers who gave him a purpose and a place to belong.

Happy with his life, Morgan never dreamed in a blink of the eye, their under-the-radar group would go from playing dive bars to filling stadiums all over the world.

Money and chart-topping records were great, but he knew he played with fire. Time wasn't on his side.

When the inevitable happened and Morgan's cover was blown, he ran - again. Right back to trouble and the woman who broke his heart.

Now, with nothing left to lose, he plans to take back his life.

His enemies better beware.

India broke his heart, but she had her reasons. Morgan can't forget, but can he forgive? Will they get their second chance at love?

Almost Home

Kane and Joplin's story.

One bad boy rock star

One woman who refuses to fall at his feet

Two broken hearts

One last second chance at love

Kane Harrison was born to play the part of the ultimate bad boy rock star. Trouble was, the life he lived wasn’t a game. Abused and discarded as a child, he used alcohol, drugs, and sex as weapons to combat the memories.

More than his salvation, playing music with his band, Razor’s Edge, was his only lifeline. Then he met Joplin Ashford and for the first time in his life, he understood the meaning of love. She was light to his dark and his hardened heart began to soften.

Joplin had a plan. For one year, she would act as manager for the up and coming rock group, Razor’s Edge, and earn her stripes in the music industry. The last thing she needed was to fall for an out of control musician with an ego the size of Texas. But try as she might, she couldn’t resist.

Loving Kane wasn’t easy, but Joplin was determined to fight until her last breath to be with him - even if her biggest obstacle was Kane himself.

Kane’s heart belonged to Joplin. Yet, to save them both, he walked away from Razor’s Edge, and the only woman he would ever love.

Five years later, they have one last second chance. Kane’s worked hard to be the man Joplin always believed him to be. Now, he must prove to her - and himself - the demons of his past aren’t as important as their future. Together.

Another one out of the park

I didn’t think that books 3 and 4 would be as good as 1 and 2 but they were better. The narrator was so good in all 4 books. I will be sure to read/ listen to more books by this author and also the narrator.

The stories were written to where you felt the emotions of the characters and the narrator amped those emotions up several notches .

Great stories about Razor's Edge band members

This collection contains two stories about the members of Razor's Edge, a fictional rock band. Before reading this collection, I think it's useful to read book 1 in the series first but these two books are easy to read by themselves. I really enjoy the characters in all the books. This audio collection is very well performed. I recommend this pair of books for mature readers as there are some adult situations in both books. However, the story is written at a level that everyone can enjoy. I recommend this collection.

Awesome Series & Narration🎧 Rocked My Heart & Mind

I love this series and can not praise or recommend it enough. Michelle J. Williams is a gifted author, she creates creates interesting storylines that captivates both your attention and your heart from start to end. This set is a two book deal, books three and four of her “Rock & Roll Forever” series, while each book is unique to it’s characters storylines they are both second chance romances or second chance at living again, depending how you look at it. “Almost Everything” is Morgan McCloud’s story, we learn little of him in earlier book and he left just before Razors Edge imploded, some may say it was his running off that initiated the band’s demise but in truth it was a whole lot more. Morgan revealed very little about himself to others, like to stay in the shadows even while on stage. The mystery of him and what makes him tick and where he came from makes this story even more interesting. And what a story he has, he left the band for the girl he fell in love with while in H.S., India Curtis. It was a secret and forbidden relationship, two people from completely different worlds, she is from a wealthy and powerful family and he was raised by a derelict father who could care less about him. Morgan’s saving grace was working for the Reinholds, Marcy and Sven, they were good to him and treated him like their son. India’s future was planned out for her by her greedy father but she planned on rebelling and made future plans with Morgan. But when their relationship is found out everything changes, Morgan is forced to leave and go out on his own which leads him to becoming a successful musician in a successful band. When he hears news of India he leaves to confront her, what he finds out devastates him, makes him a bitter man and sets him on a mission, one of vengeance. Morgan’s story really hit me, my heart went out to him and then India after learning how life turned out for her. I love how everything plays out in their story, it is plotted out nicely with plenty of drama, some angst, twists & turns and a whole lot of heartfelt and emotional moments. The ending and the lead to it made me very happy. And again the storyline that brings the series together, Joplin Ashford trying to fulfill her Uncle Danny’s dying wish of getting the band back together for one more performance. You got to give that girl a lot of credit, Morgan is the 4th person she asked and the 4th to say no. Last but not least is the final member she needs to visit, the one she fell in love with, Kane Harrison. This brings us to the 4th “Almost Home”, Kane’s story. And yes, his is another awesome story. It is great to learn out each member of the band, I thought Morgan had it bad growing up but Kane had it just as bad, he lacked self worthiness and became his own worst enemy living a life of self destruction. He had feelings for Joplin but she was out of his league. When she went to see Kane she saw how much his life changed, he was learning to live a better life. She told him about her Uncle’s dying wish, her Uncle, Danny Graham was Razors Edge’s manager and he agreed to go. Now to get the rest of the members on board, some whom already reunited and/or started talking again. I won’t give much away but I will say I loved her Uncle’s reasoning for the reunion. Well done Uncle Danny, well done Mary J. Williams! Thank you for these amazing books, they are wonderful stories and I loved them and the characters too.

Daniela Acitelli is a fantastic narrator and voice artist. She continues to bring these characters to life giving each their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. Her portrayal of the characters is spot on, she rocks each role to perfection, you not only hear the characters but she makes you feel what they are feeling. She is a talented storyteller and enhances an already awesome story another level. Thank you for another awesome listen, it is always a pleasure to listen to your work.

Enthralling listen

Almost Everything
Morgan had a pretty crappy life in high school. Mom died years earlier and dads job was sketchy. He was on the wrong side of the tracks at his high school.
Everything changed when India looked his way. He was on cloud nine and believed life was finally going his way. Then her dad found out and he was run out of town.
Years later finds him lonely and her married to another man. Hell bent on revenge, Morgan returns to his hometown. He will take down India’s dad, husband and India herself. His plans change when he finds himself in the same room as her.
Opinion
Daniela Acitelli hit it out of the ballpark again. Her reading/narration of this story was smooth, fluent and captivating. Another audiobook put to rest after one day. (These audiobooks are roughly 8 hours long folks.).
At this point, I feel completely invested in this series. I find each new story to be my favorite. I have two regrets though. (1) To my knowledge, there are only two more books left. (2) I only have the next one in my virtual shelf. I will be looking for book five and seeing if Ms. Williams has any more books. I will also be looking for more readings by Ms. Acitelli.
Many thanks to Daniela Acitelli for providing me with a copy of the audiobook.
Almost Home
Joplin has been dreading this. She needs to ask the final member of Razor’s Edge, Kane, to join in a reunion concert. He broke her heart years ago and now having to face him is hard.
Kane has given up all of his old ways, for his betterment. He no longer uses his old crutches and now maintains a clean life. He works hard to stay on the straight and narrow and seeing Joplin again May reopen the past.
A snowstorm keeps Joplin in Maine, with Kane, longer than she anticipated. This gives them time to work out their personal issues, but is that enough?
Opinion
Having heard about Kane for the past three books, it was awesome getting to see the dynamic between him and Joplin. I expected an a$$hole but what I got was a gentleman. I truly enjoyed this book and this series.
I was definitely rooting for Joplin. She has been a steady character in all of the books and she took the bands break up as her own fault. Along the way, each member confessed their own part in the breakup. This book allowed Joplin to realize it wasn’t solely her fault and that they all had a connection that couldn’t be broken. This is a nice ending to a great series. (Last post I said there were five books but I was sadly mistaken.)
Many thanks to Daniela Acitelli for providing me with a copy of the audiobook.

What a ride!

Rock & Roll Forever books 3 & 4 continue Joplin's mission to try and get Razor's Edge back for a one night reunion for the dying manager Dave. It starts with Almost Everything and I think this is the one I loved the most of the series. It features India and Morgan. India was the popular, rich girl in high school and Morgan the bad boy. When these two hook up, they know it's against all the rules and when caught, life changed drastically for both. After his time with Razor's Edge, Morgan made it his mission to seek revenge on India and her family. But now when there is a second chance at love, will he take it? I love books that have a couple with history, and these two have it in spades. The assumptions made and the time passed can only fester the pain. It's second chances, enemies to lovers, love lost and love found. I fell for this couple and you will too!

The final book is Joplin's story with Kane, Almost Home. I found their story to be the toughest as it is how I envision rock and roll life to be. Kane is a hardened man at an early age, and his only coping mechanism is destroying himself and Razor's Edge. Joplin is in love with him, but for her own good, he pushes her away. Now years later, she comes to him to ask him to come to the reunion. Will it still be the same? It's a story of love and redemption with an ending that warms your heart.

Daniela Acitelli continues her wonderful narration of this quartet and takes us on their journeys. She is very talented and finds the perfect voice for each of the characters. She also keeps them consistent between books, which is a feat since there are so many! I enjoyed her performances and look forward to more!
