Amazing book and performance.

I bow down to Jeffrey Holz and Heather Firth. Their performance brought the angst on full-force. The narration made this great book by LA Cotton incredible. I could feel the push and pull, the heartache and love… absolutely everything. This was such an amazing audiobook.

A hopeful read!

She has always had big dreams...
He has always felt like the odd one out...

I will start by saying I really enjoyed reading this book though it was not my favourite and I will admit that I was tad bit disappointed with this book.

I love reading this author and I was so hyped up about this book but it did not live up to its expectations.

The trauma our heroine faced was powerful and heartbreaking. I am glad that things were able to work out.

The story and writing was phenomenal.

I am really looking forward to the next book.

Full of angst, trauma, pain, memory, accidents, consequences and love.

Perfect for readers of contemporary romances.

The narrators did an absolutely beautiful job of giving life to these characters - powerful and emotional.

"You only know you love her when you let her go"

Emotional, frustrating and redeeming, Ruined Hopes is a rollercoaster of feels.

Filled with raw emotion, trauma and strength of overcoming, this story had me shedding multiple tears, raging at the characters to pull their act together and open their eyes, and happily sighing as the slow burn of this book finally sparked.

With so much angst, secrets and baggage, perfectly captured in Heather Firth and Jeffrey Holz narration, Ashleigh and Ezra's connection is tested again and again throughout this story, but with such complicated and deep characters, it's impossible not to root for their HEA.

Rixon High!

Ruined Hopes (Rixon High #3) is the next generation kids and I was excited to listen to Ashleigh Chase and Erza Bennet's romance. I love L.a. Cotton's writing style bringing vividly images and captivating moments. I was hooked from page one to the very end. Angsty moments intricately weaved into the pages. Character's are complex with compelling personalities. Chemistry, passion, secrets, and a whole lot more to love.

Dual narration brought to you by Heather Firth and Jeffrey Holz had brought out the story and characters to reality. Heather Firth's performance was unerring. Her inflection brought out Ashleigh's character and emotions. Her tone was age appropriate and smooth. Jeffery Holtz did great with Erza's character, however his female tone needs some work. I didn’t enjoy it. Heather had more parts, but both did great.

Excellent story and entertaining narration.

An Emotional Read!

I especially loved how Heather Firth and Jeffery Holz brought Ashleigh and Ezra to life. Their performance was simply phenomenal! Ashleigh and Ezras story was emotional and Inspirational! Their were times throughout the book I was in tears. I especially loved the slow build up of their relationship and how they both over came their own turmoil. I loved every minute of this story and was rooting for their happily-ever-after.

Ashleigh & Ezra

Alright, when I thought LA Cotton couldn’t bring any more emotion or angst to a series, she hits us with this one. This was such a beautiful story. Ashleigh was in a car accident at the end of senior year and has no memory of the last year. She is forced to redo her senior year of school while all her friends go off to college and she is left trying to figure out what was her life over the last year. Ezra holds the key to a lot of this information but he has been keeping his distance. Ashleigh doesn’t understand why Ezra is so distant, she thought they had something but instead is left watching him with other girls. All the emotion and angst was overwhelming but in the best way. I was crying, I was screaming at Ezra, it was so much!.

Will Ezra get past his issues and help Ashleigh make sense of everything? They have a hard fought HEA but it is beautiful once they get there. This was narrated by Heather Firth & Jeffrey Holz and they did such a great job with this book ! Their narration made this book even better than if I had read it!
