Enjoyed!

Enjoyed Heather and Joshua's story. Heather set out to find a new life after her Mother died and her Father fell in depression and became a drunk. She found a mail order bride advertisement in her escape and decided to go checkout the town the man was from in the ad. Joshua was the Mayor of the town looking for ways to get his little town on the maps. He met Heather the day she arrived in town, but Heather was afraid of men because of what she had been through. Joshua decided to became her friend and help her start her new life. I gasped for this poor naive girl. She got into some bad and dumb situations. If you like clean stories with new beginnings, you will enjoy 'Runaway Mail Order Bride and the Mayor'. I received this book from the publisher. The thoughts and comments are my own.

Poor Coal Miner's Daughter Ends Up in Town

The daughter of an abusive coal miner flees his violence, then escapes being sold into prostitution before landing in Daisy Creek, a maik-order bride town. Clean, lightly Christian, fun read.

Runaway Mail Order Bride and the Mayor

Another great book in the Daisy Creek series. In this one Heather runs away from home and goes to Daisy Creek and meets the Mayor. There is a lot of excitement and adventure in this one. This may be my favorite but I could say that about them all. This is a definite five star book. Gina Dobbs does an excellent job narrating this book. I received a copy of this book from audiobooks unleashed but that has no influence on my review. If this review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.

Loved it

First of all, this is a great series. It can be read out of order if you want. Amelia Rose is a great writer who has all the details covered.

I loved this story. It didn't go the way I thought at all. The characters were well thought out and well developed. She touches on other couples in the series, yet stays the to this story. I loved the different levels of the story as well. It's just not about 2 people. It's about the relationship with everyone in town and the local Indian tribe as well, along with the "bad guys". Excellent book

Nice read

This was a nice afternoon listen, the story was sweet, connected with other characters from other books. I give it 4 stars because the story line wasn’t too different than most, damsel in distress and a hero to save the day! The narrator sometimes used odd inflections that would throw me a little, but over all well done. Give it a listen if you love sweet clean stories!!
