This book was on the list for my group group, but not until I had started listening to it did I realize it is for young readers or mothers of teens. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this book ... in fact it’s probably a very good read for middle school children and their parents. But I’m an old grandma and do not enjoy it. I hope you will allow me to return this book, or exchange it for something else. Thank you.

I will giver you a teaser...the publishers of this book sued a major movie mogul for ripping off their story. This version is the better one. :)

I think that a teen reader or even middle schooler could enjoy this book. There is just enough suspense without having violence or language. This is a story of hope in the face of fear. A story of resilience as a girl who keeps being denied answers. I think this could encourage a reluctant reader to get into a book and I am thankful I ended up finding it from a Facebook feed about obscure books.

This book has almost brought tears to my eyes 5 times the characters are so deep and relatable and even though Jessie and I are very unlike I can still resonate with her 1,000 percent if you are on the fence about this book you won’t regret reading this masterpiece!

The most touching book I’ve ever read

Loved this book since first hearing it in 5th grade. It's not hard by any means but a worthy story to hear. It also makes me laugh because of inflation both in the story and on a meta level, haha.

Love this book
